First Kiss Chapter one. Trying to work up the nerve!

Chapter 115

I have not edited the next chapter but its been so long since I had posted anything I figured I'd just get it up and hope everyone will ignore the mistakes in it. Sorry for the long wait for it.

Chapter 115

Snape awoken early on Saturday he was glad there was no classes but he knew that Igor would come looking for him again since his students were all going to be going into Hogsmeade for the weekend visit there. Severus dressed quickly and went to breakfast; he planned on going down into Hogsmeade himself for some new items he had ordered for his private store cupboard, including Boomslang and Gillyweed.

“Your son owes me for that, it’s not cheap to buy, either of them.” Snape grumbled as he walked to the Great Hall. Snape went to the teachers’ table and sat down next to Professor Sprout who smiled happily at him.

“Good morning Severus, going into town this morning?”

Snape smiled softly at her, “yes there are a few things I had order that I need to pick up for my classes.”

“Yes I too need to head into town to pick up some new plants for class. I dare say the students shall find them quite interesting and I need to pick up the baby hedges that are going to be used for the last task.”

Sprout looked quite pleased.

“I had heard you bought some amazing ones for it, they are quick growth hedge, or something like that.” Snape asked.

“Yes their name is gremundoos hedge but most just call them quick growth but they do grow very quickly before the next task is ready they shall be at least twenty feet tall.”

Snape’s eyes widen at this, “That is very impressive; it shall be quite interesting to see the students faces when they see those hedges in their dear Quiddich field.”

Sprout chuckled at this. “I am sure they will be most stunned by it. Alas they shall be removed to a new location after the final competition. I do believe they will fit right in there with the other wild creatures in the forest.

Snape grinned he too figured they would do well in hidden places around the ForbiddenForest.

After breakfast Snape left for Hogsmeade, he was glad to see that Igor was not around to hound him some more, he was losing what patience he did have no matter how sorry he felt for the man, it was annoying after a while to be hounded about what he should do about the Death Eater’s mark growing clearer every day or was there any other spells he could use to hide himself.

Snape walked around for a while, he saw Harry, Hermione and Ron all walking down the street, and it seemed from the bulging backpack that Harry had bought quite a few things. Snape wondered if he should be worried or not but figured the one most likely to feel the brunt of the jokes was Filch and his cat. Snape did make a mental note to be sure to recheck his spells around his office and his private room just in case he was the target for Harry’s mischief.

He stopped by the Three Broomsticks for a glass of Elf wine. Snape sat in the far corner drinking his wine, when he noticed Bagman walking into the pub, looking very worried. Severus wondered what he was up to as he looked quickly around the pub then left the place quickly with out ordering anything.

Strange guy, Snape thought as he finished his drink, and then left him self to pick up his ingredients for his classes. He had bought all his items and was walking back to the school, when he noticed Igor walking down the road looking as always very anxious. Snape slipped into a dark alley and waited for Igor to walk on past him, before heading back to the school. He was happy to be joined by his colleagues Charity, Aurora, Septima and Bathsheda. They chatted about the tournament and the chances of a Hogwarts victory and which champion would win it, Cedric or Harry.
