Chapter 161

Snape walked through the crowds of people in the Great Hall, he was holding Lily’s hand, while watching the others all talking, crying holding each other. Severuslooked over to see Harry and Luna talking softly.

“That girl really understands him.”

“Yes she is very perceptive,”

“I love the way she distracts others, it’s brilliant.” James said as he walked over, taking Lily’s free hand.

“Yeah she is unique,”

“Shall we go upstairs with him?” James asked softly as they watched Harry slip under the cloak.

“Sure, I’d like to hear what he says…. Where is he going?” Snape really didn’t feel like watching him go to sleep.

“I’m thinking he will visit Dumbledore’s and your office,” James said as they followed after him up the stairs, Hermione and Ron walking with him.

“Hey its old Peeves,” James, laughed pointing at the poltergeist as he went past them all singing happily.

“I sure miss him; he was always a blast to have around,” Sirius commented as they watched him.

“But how did he end up here?” Tonks asked as she watched him bobbing and singing.

“Blame those three,” Snape laughed as they continued on their way, Peeves singing fading into the background.

“Why am, I not surprised. You three must have been holy terrors in school.” Tonks said with arched eyebrows at Lupin who was looking innocently at her.

“Who us?” he asked as innocently as possible.

Lily laughed uproariously, “Of course you three, who else?”

“I’d say George and I were in there trying hard.”

They turned around to see Fred grinning at them.

“Fred?” Snape said softly he was surprised he had not realized he had died.

“Hello Fred, I’m so sorry,” Lily walked over hugging him. Tonks and Connie also hugged him, in turn.

“Man if I’d known being dead was going to score the babes I’d have done it sooner,” Fred laughed, as the girls all gave him playful slaps.

“You are bad, really bad,” Lily told him, the smile bright and pretty on her.

“No wonder the girls like him,” Connie said with a wink as she looked over at Sirius.

“We all seem to have a thing for bad boys.” Tonks agreed as she walked over hugging Remus.

“Good thing we boys, have a thing for you naughty girls,” Remus told her as he kissed her softly.

They all started to laugh as they walked up the stairs after Harry, Ron and Hermione.

“Can we go up?” Harry asked politely of the stone gargoyle that was broken at the door.

“Feel Free,” it moaned weakly.

“Poor thing, I hope it gets fixed soon.” Tonks said as they all stepped over the gargoyle walking up after Harry.

The noise that greeted them almost blew them all away.

“Wow I think they need to get it out, don’t bottle it up.” Fred said, as he looked around at all the portraits cheering loudly.

Phineas was shouting happily himself in his reedy voice.
