Chapter 167

The summer vacation was over for students of Hogwarts, Hermione, Harry and Ron were at Kings cross to say good bye to Ginny, and Luna who were heading back for their last year of school. Harry gave Ginny a hug and kiss good bye, she was upset because she had wanted to quit school but her parents forbade her and Harry was on their side, she had felt betrayed by this. He explained that he wanted to see her succeed, and get many N.E.W.T.S, that was not mollifying her as she gave him a very short peck of a kiss on his cheek. Luna happily gave all three a hug good bye telling Ronald to have fun in Auror training. Ron grinned at her he told her he would take them by surprise with his prowess.

Hermione and Harry bit back their laughter as they waved to the two of them as they boarded the train after saying good bye to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Percy and George, who were there to see them off.

They waved to them as they watched out the window as the train moved out from Kingscross.

The group all dissaperated from the station, to arrive back at the Burrow, It had to be spruced back up after several Death Eaters had gone through everything after it was discovered that Ron was with Harry and Hermione and not at home on his death bed, with Spattergrout.

Harry had felt very guilty about it, when he had heard about them ransacking their home, but they poo, poo it off as something to live with when you’re fighting against the Dark Arts.

Harry still felt a pang of guilt over it.

“Mrs. Weasley, I was hoping that it would be ok for my brother Se to come by tonight. I had told him all about you and he’d like to meet you.”

Molly looked at him surprised, for a moment, and then smiled kindly. “Of course dear, I’d love to meet him?”

“Thanks Mrs. Weasley.” Harry knew that for quite a while Mrs. Weasley was very angry with Severus for his betrayal, although once she learned what he had really been doing, behind the scenes so to speak, she found that she really liked him now, and was sorry to see him dead.

“So when do you start your training?” Mrs. Weasley asked as she immediately went to work on some lunch.

“We start in a couple of days, from what I heard you do a lot of written tests, before they even start you on anything else.” Ron told her.

“That’s true, it’s very rigorous work and very few make it all the way through the training.” Mr. Weasley commented as he sat down looking eager to eat.

“I’m sure you’ll do fine in it,” Molly smiled as she served up their lunch; Harry found he was very hungry.

Ron nodded not saying anything he was still put out that Harry was automatically made an Auror while he had to go into training to be one. He was still fuming over Shacklebotl’s reasoning.

“Ron I know you helped him out but you also left him when things had gotten tough. You need to learn more deciapline if you hope to actually make it through and become an Auror.”

He had told the two later it was a lot of rubbish and favortism on shacklebolt’s part.

He never noticed the sad looks Harry and Hermione shared with each other.

After lunch Harry asked Ron and Hermione if they wanted to go with him to Spinners End. They agreed, he had talked with his brother who was reluctant at first to take away Harry’s inheritance, but Harry had explained that he had another house so really did not need two of them. Severus Evans finally agreed, and the two split up the letters to their mother, and they shared the elf wine and fire whiskey.
