Chapter 140

It was a week after Ron had been poisoned he was still in the hospital wing, recovering, he was doing fine though.  Snape had learned this from Pomfrey when he brought her a new batch of potion that would help speed up his recovery.

Snape then headed to the Quiddich field he wasn’t going to watch it this time but he had heard from McGonagall that she was giving Luna Lovegood a chance as commentary. He wouldn’t miss this for anything, even if it were Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff.

Snape had headed into the stands he saw Draco heading toward the castle with two young girls in tow. Snape looked at the three it seemed so unlike Draco to hang around younger students. Snape removed his wand and sent a spell to reveal any magic associated with Draco and the two young girls.

“Polyjuice potion?” Snape muttered curiously, “Where did they get it, Draco is good but is he good enough to make it and who are the two girls?” Snape wondered softly then his eyebrows rise upward as he bit down on his lips to keep from laughing.

“Oh no, he wouldn’t, he has those two boys…. That is priceless; I wonder how he had managed to get them to agree to it?” Snape chuckled as he turned his attention back to the field for the game that would soon be starting.

Snape watched as the two teams came out onto the field, Harry did look impressive in his captain robes, although he seemed angry with his goal Keeper, as Snape watched McLaggen storm off toward the goal post, Harry was now talking to his team.

Snape watched as the teams started to play, he was not surprised that McLaggen was trying to boss the other players around, causing Harry to have to continue to reprimand him.

Snape though was more interested in listening to Luna this he thought was priceless.

“But now that big Hufflepuff player’s got the Quaffle from her. I can’t remember his name, it’s something like Bibble—no, — Buggins”

Snape couldn’t help it he laughed as McGonagall told her the correct name, which was not even close to the two she had picked out. Snape watched as Harry once again told his Keeper off for not paying attention to the goals.

“Poor kid he has his work cut out for him, with that goal Keeper,” Snape muttered as he watched them arguing in the air.

Snape laughed again as Luna announced that Smith was suffering from Loser’s Lurgy, he didn’t know what it was but it seemed accurate to him, since Smith was playing terrible right now.

“Seventy-forty to Hufflepuff!” McGonagall barked as Snape laughed even more, listening to Luna.

“Is it, already, Oh look! The Gryffindor Keeper’s got hold of one of the Beater’s bats”

Snape looked along with everyone else to see that he did indeed have the bat and was obviously trying to show him what to do, as Harry flew over to them.

Snape though was stunned and leaped up with the crowd as Harry was suddenly hit hard in the head by the Beater bat that his own teammate had hit him with. Snape raised his wand, so that Harry was floating in midair longer then normal as two of his teammates raced over to grab a hold of him and take him down to the ground where he and several others converged on the pitch to make sure he was ok.

“I’ll take him up, Severus can you sit with Luna and make sure she…. Ummm you know,” McGonagall asked. Luna was speaking dreamily into her megaphone.

“I do hope Harry is ok, he is tough you know he had battled against He-who-must-not-be-named several times, so a little thing like a hard bally thingy should be no problem for him.” Luna was smiling serenely as the two teams were grouped around Harry as McGonagall floated him to the school on a stretcher.
