The time was moving quickly, through school, Snape was either reporting into Voldermort or Dumbledore, when not doing either of these, he was busy teaching classes, and when he could he would leave the school for a day to go and visit with Narcissa, who always looked forward to seeing him stop by.

Snape had just arrived at the Leaky Cauldron where he was meeting with Narcissa. He had already gone into Gringotts and exchanged some gold for Muggle money.

Snape was sitting at the bar when a finger tapped him on the shoulder. Snape turned around with a smile to see Narcissa standing there in her best dress robes.

“You look very nice, Narcissa, are you ready to go out into the Muggle world and look around for a while?” Snape asked her as he stood up offering his arm to her.

“I sure am anything to get away for a while.”

Snape smiled at her as the two left through the door leading into Muggle central.

They walked down the street, since neither of them had nor drove a car.

“Do you know if it’s complicated to drive one of those things?” Cissy asked as she held Snape’s arm a little tighter as several roared by them.

“I do not believe it is. I though have never bothered to learn. But I knew someone who did long ago and sh…. They were very skilled at it,” Snape hoped she missed the slip of the tongue; he did not want to speak about Lily to Narcissa. He also didn’t want to tell her he did know how to drive and had Lily’s old car. He was sure that she would understand but some things he wanted to keep private, to keep as his own and not shared with others.

“I am not sure I could learn it, it seems so odd so complicated, I think I shall prefer to stick with my broom or Appariations, that is something I understand,”

“Same here, although….. Don’t tell the others but you know the form of transportation that our Dark Lord uses?”

“Yes he has discovered a way to fly with no broom or anything else,”

“He told me that if all goes well with my… work at the school, he is going to teach me how to fly like that,” Snape told her softly as they walked past a large group of men and woman who were eyeing the two walking toward them as though they were a display case item in a store.

Narcissa looked at him with awe, “Oh Severus that is really something. He has told no one else how to do that. he has kept it secret from everyone. I guess it really does prove you are his favorite,”

Snape laughed and choked over this, “At least until I do something to displease him,”

This had made Narcissa laughed cutely, “That is something I never see happening with you, you are to smart and talented to get on his bad side. He really does favor you over everyone else. At home when he talks it always comes to you; he says he will ask your opinion on something that anyone tells him.” Narcissa looked behind her as though worried someone might be following them, “It does I’m afraid makes some of them angry that you are so well favored and they are not, especially Bella. She had gone for so long as one of his favorites, not being at the top anymore has really angered her.” Narcissa stopped as she looked at Snape with wide wondering eyes.

“Severus, you have on a dark blue dress robe, I did not know you owned one. It looks great on you.” Narcissa spoke softly as she moved her hand up and down his left arm feeling the dark soft blue material under her hand.

“You just noticed huh, I guess your not that interested in me as you say,” Snape joked as Narcissa looked surprised.

“Your humor is always least expected but nonetheless great when you let it come through,” Narcissa leaned over kissing his cheek.
