Chapter 192
It was late in the day when Harry and Hermione made their way to the kitchen to get something to eat; they were surprised to see the Veela girl, whose name they did not know sitting in the kitchen eating some home made cinnamon buns, while talking to Kreature who seemed pleased to make food for her.
“Oh hello, are you friends of Ron?” She asked softly.
“Yeah we are,” Harry, said as he took a seat with Hermione sitting next to him as Kreature hurried over with cinnamon buns for them to eat.
“I’m Aurore, a cousin of Fleur and Gabriella’s”
“Nice to meet you Aurore,” Hermione said politely.
“Is Ron still in bed?” Harry asked surprised he would still be asleep.
“No he had to leave this morning to go and help his brother George with the shop.”
Harry and Hermione nodded as they ate their buns while asking for some milk.
Aurore gave them both reproachful looks as Kreature filled two glasses up with milk for them both.
Hermione noticed her look, “Is something wrong Aurore?”
“No I guess not it just seems so…. Inconsiderate to come to a friend’s house and order his house elf around and eat all of his food,” Aurore shrugged her shoulders elegantly.
“But I guess that is the customs here if you are good enough friends,”
Harry and Hermione looked at each other in complete shock from this announcement before bursting into laughter.
“I said something funny?” Aurore raised an eyebrow at them looking very haughty at them both.
“Well yeah you did, this isn’t Ron’s house it’s Harry’s house.” Hermione told her pointing her finger at Harry who sat smirking.
“I think you is mistaken this house belongs to Ron Weasley he told me that he had bought it with his own gold and put up all of the enchantments himself, the only down side was the permanent sticking charms on some of the things around here, but he covered them up and is not worried about it since he had gotten the house on such a fair price.”
Harry and Hermione sat with their mouths hung open in surprise as they looked at her that she would believe such a thing.
