Chapter 148

It was a very bright night out; the stars were gleaming with a half moon shining down. Snape had left his home once again in his Muggle attire his faded blue jeans, this time though he had on a black t-shirt with a silver dragon print on it, with the words (Do not tease the dragon for you are tasty and good with catsup.) Snape had bought it at the department store, for the dragon print, it seemed to be a better option then the one with the large truck on it, or large feet, which he had not gotten then meaning of that one. Snape walked down the street, for a ways before he turned on the spot dissaperating to a new location. Snape had heard about this happening tonight but he had to see for himself. Snape slipped up through the dark shadows along the house, to look into the back yard. There standing in front of a Minister, was Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks, she was wearing a white dress with off the shoulder sleeves, and it seemed simple but very elegant on her. Snape smiled at her bubble gum pink hair as she stood holding Lupin’s hands, he was wearing his best dress robes of a deep red color.

“Way to go Remus, I’m really glad for you; she’ll make a fine wife for you.” Snape watched happily; glad to see someone’s dreams coming true for them.

Snape did notice that her parents did not look as happy as they were looking as they kissed each other amid the clapping from Mr. and Mrs. Weasley and McGonagall who was it seemed the only ones at the wedding they on the other hand looked thrilled.

Snape left after a few more minutes he did not want to be caught watching this happy time, not when his presence would do nothing but bring anger and most likely Aurors out to take him away. He could not afford to be caught at this time. He was to busy trying to work both sides, and being in Azkaban would seriously hurt Harry’s chances of a longer life right now.

Or maybe not, none of them Death Eaters ever get things right, Snape chuckled as he continued to walk down the street, no one noticing a dark lone man walking.

Snape looked around the streets were deserted as he walked from streetlight to streetlight. Once he was a fair distance away he quickly turned on the spot to leave for the outskirts of the school.

Snape had sent an owl to Slughorn to meet at this time. Snape was pleased to see the light moving toward him, as Slughorn gave him a cheery hello.

“Severus, it is good to see you, how is it going out there?”

“Fine, I had just watched, without their knowledge the wedding for Remus and Nymphadora.”

“Ah Remus Lupin he has found someone at last. I am so very happy for him. He’s a fine man real fine,” Slughorn said proudly as he remembered him from school.

“Yes he is, and Nymphadora is a very fine lady, she too is an Auror, they will make a fine couple.”

The two walked toward the school, Slughorn had distinguish the flame in the lantern as they approached the school, allowing the light pouring out to keep them from harm as they walked up the front steps.

Slughorn walked inside the front doors then cough loudly. Snape grinned he knew the man well; it was his way of letting Snape know it was clear. Snape walked into the school, they hurried to the stairs leading to the headmaster’s office.

“Hello sir,” Snape said happily after he entered the office to see Dumbledore smiling merrily at him.

“Severus, good to see you! Wonderful Muggle clothing you have on, I am sure you blend right in with the other Muggles on the streets.

“That is what I am hoping for,” Snape said feeling self-conscious with his hair once again tied in a ponytail. “The wedding for Remus and Tonks, went well, though they do not know I was watching,” Snape smiled ruefully.
