Chapter 143
The weeks soon passed into the next month, Snape had gone after every Saturday to spend time with Narcissa as usually in his home at Spinner’s End or at the Muggle world, after Nott’s failed try at spying on them Bellatrix had given up as far as they could tell. Narcissa had a feeling that the Dark Lord had told her to back off, since he approved of their time together, it was he had told her added information for him. Snape as always watched over Draco and Harry, he had noticed that Harry was spending extra time with Ginny Weasley.
It was not long before the rumors had started about them dating each other. Snape had written to Lily about her son dating the girl, and how people were saying he had a tattoo on his chest of a Hippogriff, but Ginny had set them straight that it was indeed a Hungarian Horntail instead. He enjoyed the rumor about Ron having a purple Pygmy Puff on his ass even more. Snape had laughed at that, it was something that Lily would have done when they were in school.
“Crazy kids,” Snape had told her in the letter.
Snape had also told Narcissa who laughed hysterically over it and wanted to write to Draco to find out if it was true or not.
Neither had said anything about the time that she had cried herself to sleep against him, for not having his love. He knew she desired him and at times felt very tempted to take her to his room, but a part of him, couldn’t find it in him to do that, when he thought of Lily and how she might be hurt by it. Despite what she said in his dream he wasn’t sure if it was just ego or sexual frustrations and need on his part that had her saying that to him during his night time visions.
They had taken up to going to visiting different types of Muggle restaurants. Narcissa loved trying the different foods and seeing the way the Muggle women dressed. She had gotten some Muggle money to buy more dresses.
“So what should we get tonight?” Snape asked Narcissa as they walked down a different street.
“You tell me, I don’t know the Muggle world like you do,”
Snape laughed, “Keep your eyes open, you’ll figure it out,”
Narcissa gave his arm a swat while sticking her tongue out at him. Snape laughed harder.
“Ok lets try this place,”
“What is it?” Narcissa asked as they stood in front of the doors with two pictures upon them, a dragon and a tiger.
“Its Chinese food, it’s really good.”
“You sure did a lot in your life,”
“I guess, I even went to the states,”
Narcissa looked stunned at him, “When did you do that?”
“Not to long after we left school. It was for the Dark Lord.”
“Wow he sent you there on an assignment?” Narcissa was very impressed.
“Yeah, he wanted information on some boy there. He had heard the boy had unusual powers and wanted to know if that was true. I went there and found the boy, but he was nothing spectacular, just a little boy, raised by a Muggle mother, with a Wizard father. I came back and reported to him, and that was the end of it.”
“That is still really cool, he never gives me much in the way of assignments, he’s always given them to Bella more then me. He; use to give them to Lucius all the time, but the last couple as you know turned into a disaster.”
Snape nodded softly, “yes it did; I wish I could have gone there to help get the prophecy, or at least had heard all of it. But that damn barman found me and tossed me from the building. He’s a lot stronger then he looks.”
