Snape was walking toward the town of Hogsmeade when his mark burned again, they were gathering there. Snape hurried there to see them. He saw Narcissa standing with her sister, Narcissa looked bruised and battered. Bellatrix did not look as bad, though. Lucius on the other hand looked horrible; Snape was shocked to see how beaten the man looked.

“It is time, I want you to destroy them in there, bring me Potter alive,”

Snape nodded and murmured with the others as they all headed for the school to battle the teachers within it. Snape though slipped off as soon as they were out of sight of the Dark Lord, he knew that the teachers would be getting the students out of the school as quickly as possible and the one place was going to be the Hogshead. Snape went there to see that several Slytherin students were leaving, at the head of them was Pansy she looked angry, as she stormed off to help her parents.

Snape did not allow them to see him as he watched them walk away. It was; the students who neither were unable to dissaperate away nor did they have parents who could come here to retrieve them. Snape sent his Patronus out to the homes of wizards and witches to come and take children out of here. He knew that no one would associate the doe with him as they hurried to help the children.

Snape was pleased to see them showing up in moments taking the students away after asking where they lived.

Some parents were also showing up taking their kids on side along. Snape saw Amanda and Candance leave the pub looking scared. Snape hurried over to them.

“Come girls, I’ll take you to your homes, you’ll be fine there, relax this feels odd.” Snape told them as he picked them up in his arms, turning quickly first to Candance home then to Amanda’s home.

“You’ll both be fine now,” Snape told them each as they rubbed their ears as he left them at home.

Snape hurried back, he did not see Draco, Crabbe and Goyle though with the other Slytherin students. Most of the older ones had gone to join their parents the younger ones were looking scared.

Snape hurried to take the ones home, while a few just wanted to hide in the pub waiting to see what would happen to their school.

Snape had finished taking home the ones who wanted to leave; he was now walking through the Death Eaters. They seemed to be gaining ground. Snape felt sadden watching them; it was then that Narcissa ran up to him, looking scared.

“Severus, where is my son. He has not shown up with the others. The Dark Lord left with Lucius, I don’t know where they went though. I’m so scared.” Narcissa wrapped her arms around Snape, her tears soaking him.

“It’s ok Narcissa, Draco’s a smart boy. He’ll be fine. I’m sure he’s just trying to help you from inside.”

I wish he had left though; he could be killed by accident in there. Snape snuggled Narcissa up close; he could feel her tremble with fear. Snape did not help the others he didn’t want his home to be destroyed; he didn’t want to think that Harry or anyone else could be dying inside there. Snape saw Lupin and Tonks running by they were battling against several other Death Eaters.

“Please be careful Lupin. I heard about you having a son, don’t leave him alone.” Snape whispered softly as he watched Lupin sending one shot after another along side his wife.

It was then that Lucius had shown up, he was looking miserable.

“Snape the Dark Lord, he’s in the Shrieking Shack, he wants to see you.” Lucius sounded as though he would cry himself.
