The next two weeks proved busy for Severus, as the Christmas holidays approached quite quickly. Severus walked down to the front gates, he was going into Hogsmeade to purchases some crystallized pineapple for Slughorn to give to him, at his little party and he figured some elf wine would go well with it, since the man was fond of any drink with his pineapple. Snape looked around at the small shops at all the items they were selling trying to decide on a present for Dumbledore, Draco and Narcissa; he wanted to buy them all something nice. He had of course received an invitation to join the Malfoy’s for Christmas dinner; he had accepted it of course. He didn’t want to show up empty handed there. Snape sighed he couldn’t decide on anything, he turn on the spot and left for Diagon Alley. Snape was walking down the street, looking in the shop windows when he noticed the brightly colored and well lit one for Weasley Wizard Wheezes with the large sign advertising U-NO-POO-.

Snape laughed out loud, he couldn’t help it; it was just like the two boys to make fun of the Dark Lord.

Snape walked inside to see a large array of joke type items along with other interesting items.

“Hmm this is quite good,” Snape thought as he looked over the hat that would shield you from most hexes. Snape also saw the Darkness powder, and picked up a couple of boxes of that. Snape looked around some more until he saw the Extendable Ears and picked up a few of them, along with a Patented Daydream Charms and A pink Pygmy Puff.

Snape bought a few Muggle jokes for Dumbledore, he knew the man enjoyed Muggle things and the trick playing cards, and Extendable Ear and pepper candy would amuse him greatly it was then he saw the hat. A large bright purple witches hat with green spots and a large golden feather. Snape walked over to it and read the inscription, invisibility hat. Snape grinned at this, he had of course heard of them and this too would amuse Dumbledore to no end, Snape grabbed it up for him.

Snape walked up to the counter to pay for the items where he saw a young blonde girl ringing up other people’s purchases. Snape raised an eyebrow as she called over her shoulder to “Mr. and Mr. Weasley” it was not something he would have ever believed he’d hear them called.

Snape watched amazed and amused as George came bustling out from the back room in his purple robes a look of concern on his face as he walked to her.

“Yes, what do you… need…?” George had trailed off as he spotted Snape standing there.

“Hello Professor, I never expected you to come in here?” George said bluntly, as he smiled looking at the Pink Pygmy Puff on his shoulder. George was then distracted by the salesclerk. Snape grinned at him he must look quite odd.

“This gentleman here needs an invisibility hat that is pink with an assortment of dove feathers,”

“Oh, we can specially make one like that for you, we don’t have any in stock at the moment.”

“Thank you, how soon can I get one, I want it for my daughter for Christmas,” The man with gray hair and a thin mustache asked, he was wearing dark blue robes and looked as though; he felt as out of place and he looked in the shop.

“We’ll have it in a few days, we can send it to you or you can pick it up, which ever is most convenient,”

“Please send it to me at this address,” The man flipped out a business card from no where and handed it to George who took it while looking at the card, he brought out his wand giving it a small wave so that it now said Pink Invisibly hat with dove feathers.

“We’ll have it to you right away, thank you sir.” George smiled at the man as he paid for his other purchases then quickly left the shop with his bright colored bag with the large name of Weasley Wizards Wheezes, on the side.
