Shrek tapped his foot impatiently, waiting for class to end. He watched the clock, and as soon as the bell went off, he raced out of the class.

"Hey Shrek! Why are you blasting?" His friend, Lightning McQueen asked.

"Oh, I bet he's waiting to see his beeautiful lover." Barry B. Benson teased.

Shrek let out a grunt in annoyance, then turned down the hall, looking for him.

Kool Aid Man. The coolest kid at Meme School High.

A loud "Oh yeah" could be heard, and Shrek felt his heart flutter.

"Hey, I think he's coming this way." Lightning McQueen pulled Barry away, allowing Shrek work his magic.

"H-hey." Shrek mumbled as Kool Aid Man smiled at him. "I'm, I'm Shrek."

"Oh yeah, I know." Kool Aid Man gave Shrek a smirk. "You're a pretty lit dude." He said, dabbing gracefully.

"Oh-!" Shrek said, surprised. "I uh, thank you."

"Hey, you want to come to my party tonight?" Kool Aid Man asked, leaning against the lockers next to Shrek. "It'll be totally on fleek. I even got Danielle Bregoli and Jake Paul to play some lit tunes."

"Wow. I'll uh, I'll be there!" Shrek smiled, blushing as Kool Aid Man winked.

"Oh yeah, I can't wait."

"Good luck, Racer!" Lightning McQueen called out after Shrek. Shrek awkwardly waved back, taking a deep breath as he stepped into the crowded living room.

Shrek grabbed some punch, sipping as he looked around the room for his crush.

The punch slipped through his Ogre hands as he saw Kool Aid man flirting with Sonic the Hedgehog.

He raced out of the house, ugly tears falling from his face.

Shrek sat on the front steps, debating on running back to his swamp or calling his friends to pick him up.

He stood up, and started walking down the street. "Shrek!"

Shrek turned around, wiping the Ogre tears away. "What do you want, Kool Aid Man?"

"Hey, why'd you just blast?" Kool Aid Man asked, concern washing over his glass face. "Wasn't Lit enough?"

"No, it's just." Shrek sighed, deciding to come clean. "I saw you hanging out with Sonic the Hedgehog."

"I-it's not what you think." Kool Aid Man grabbed Shrek's large hands, holding them tightly. He looked into Shrek's eyes, smiling softly.

"I only love you, Shrek. You're my world. And don't think I'm
Ogre-exaggerating either."

Shrek turned away, not believing his words.

Kool Aid Man placed a hand on Shrek's cheek, forcing him to look.

Kool Aid Man stood on his tip-toes, gently kissing Shrek's rough lips. Shrek kissed back, the cool glass feeling comforting on his skin.

"Was that okay?" Kool Aid Man asked, his Kool Kid persona fading as he waited for a response.

"That'll do, Kool Aid Man." Shrek said with a soft, caring looking look on his face. He got in position to dab, a smile on his face. "That'll do."
