Short, fluffy, and set before they are dating FYI. It's inspired by a Reddie post I saw a while ago

"Jesus, dude. How are you so good at this?" Jeremy asked, struggling to get over the virtual roadblock. "Are you god?"

"I mean, yes, but it's actually super simple. Press A and up at the same time." Michael shrugged, sticking his tongue out in concentration.

Jeremy flushed red, trying not to glance at Michael as he drew attention to his lips. Jeremy quickly turned back to the game, ignoring Michaels look of concern.

Michael shrugged it off, glancing back towards the television.

The night went like that. Michael would do something that Jeremy would find ridiculously attractive, and Jeremy would pretend he wasn't madly in love with his best friend.

Towards the end of the night, Michael shifted closer to Jeremy, leaning on him in a way that was incredibly comfortable for himself. His avatar in the game started to get slower and slower until stopping completely. Michaels controller fell from his hands, and Jeremy could feel Michaels breath on him.

Jeremy was in the most uncomfortable position ever. He was awkwardly leaning so that he could hold Michael, and his neck was twisted in a way he knew he'd get cramps in the morning.

But he couldn't move. How could he?

Michael looked so content and beautiful, and Jeremy had a job to keep him asleep. And Jeremy Heere was going to stick with his job, no matter how much pain he was in.

It's all for Michael. Jeremy thought. It's all for him.

Michael sat up, rubbing his eyes before blinking and looking around. Jeremy gave him a wide smile, and the bags under his eyes were prominent on his face.

"Jere? You good?" Michael asked in his groggy morning voice.

"Better than I've ever been."
