Otherwise known as a super duper short Spider-Man AU

Jared pulled his jacket tighter around himself, trying to still keep up his 'I'm the coolest guy around' act in hopes that he wouldn't get mugged. He really shouldn't have been out this late, but man Alana talked a lot.

As Jared was thinking, he bumped right into a taller man. "Oh shit, sorry dude. You good?"

Jared heard him mumbled something, and instantly he had a gun to his head.

"Give me all you got. I want your money, not your life, but if you try to make a move I won't think twice."

"Sir, I don't have anything on me." Jared replied shakily.

"You gotta phone, don't you?"

"Uh-" Jared was cut off by a blur or red and blue, swinging in to knock the man off his feet. The man stumbled back, and instantly began shooting at the thing.

The blue got closer to Jared and he realized it was a person in a costume, with a small spider on the front. The spider guy got in front of him and managed to dodge all of the bullets before getting there. He grabbed Jared by his waist and shot some white web thing to a nearby tower, and away they went.

Jared instantly screamed as his feet left the ground, and the person holding him chuckled. "Oh fuck off." Jared mumbled quietly as the landed.

"Are you okay?" The spider guy asked, checking to see if Jared had any injuries.

"I'm fine, but uh, who are you?"

"I'm..." the boy hesitated before smiling wide. "I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!"
