Based on a tumblr post I saw. This isn't super couple-y, but I tried to make it as funny as possible.
Also Jared's character is a little wack but like he's a go fashion designer in this so it's fine
"Hey, uh, hey Jared!"
Jared sighed, turning his rolling chair to face a nervous Evan. "Let me guess. You're gonna ask me to make some ridiculously fancy and time straining outfit, and I only have two days to complete it?"
"Okay, it's not technically my fault." Evan said, defending himself. "Michael, uh, he said that apparently there's some time rip in the timeline, so uh... yeah."
"What year, what area?" Jared asked, already grabbing his fabrics. "And what are you going as?"
"Uh, upper class, Britain, and uh, 1860's."
Jared's eye twitched. "And I only have two days?"
"Yes, uh, yes sir. Preferably sooner, sir."
"Is there anything else I should know?" Jared asked, gritting his teeth.
"Uh, I'm uh, bringing Christine with me."
"God damn it, Evan, you know there's a months policy on women's fashion pre 1900's! One month! One month notice! Do you know how fucking difficult it is to make those god damn dresses?"
"I'm sorry sir." Evan said, fear in his voice.
"Ugh!" Jared turned to his sewing machine, already begging to sew the basis of Evan's outfit.
———
"Hey Jare." Jared turned around to see a grinning Michael.
"Ah, the devil returns."
"Yeah, I'm sorry man. But in my defense, we didn't see the rip until recently, so..."
"Yeah yeah, whatever." Jared shushed him, and held up Jeremy's suit. "Evan's is done, thankfully."
"Sweet! Thank, thank you!" Evan said, wondered into the room while Michael grabbed the suit and studied it closely.
"Wait, is this upper middle class?" Michael asked.
Jared paused. "No. No it's not. Is it supposed to be?" He asked, trying not to flip out.
"Well, Yeah, there's going to a ball where they'll all-"
"Evan, you said Upperclass!" Jared muttered, his voice straining.
"Yeah, uh, isn't there like, uh not a difference?"
"Fuck yeah there's a difference!" Jared grabbed the suit, throwing it back on the machine. "You're lucky I haven't started on Christine's yet."
———
"Hey Jared! Uh, so, I saw you finished the other dresses. Good, uh, good job!"
"What outfit do you need, Jeremy." Jared deadpanned.
"Okay, so here me out. I really want to go to Japan in its earlier stages to look back at a, at a case file that was buried for a long time. Some fire that shouldn't have started. So I need a kimono. Possibly by today or tomorrow."
"Yeah, uh, how about a kimono, Jeremy." Jared started, rolling his eyes. "I have to hand paint the flowers and that alone will take about a full week, and I'd have to specially get the fabric, and lastly you're the whitest white to have ever whited. Do you really think you'll fit in?"
"Oh. Yeah."
"Yeah. So I'm gonna veto that real quick. Sorry Jere."
"It's fine, Jare. You're right." Jeremy was about to leave, but he paused at the door. "Can you still make me one?"
Jared flicked him off.
———
"Hey Jared." Jared let out a noise of frustration, but Connor ignored him. "So anyway, I need to go to 1450 Italy. Middle class. Today. We need to see how time reacts to this rock thingie that Micha-"
Jared laughed. "Wow, Yeah, no. Do you really think I have time to hand dye wool right now? No. You're going to the 1980's."
"But we-"
"Nope. Here's some shoulder pads." Jared said, tossing Connor the shoulder pads. "Oh, and don't wear those pants please. You'll look so awkward. God am I the only fashionable person around here?"
