71. The Final Battle Part 2

Chris's POV

Wyatt, Melinda, and I stepped out of the portal and into the attic in 2009. We heard talking coming from downstairs.

Wyatt: good, they're home.

We walked down stairs and turned the corner into the dining room. They all looked surprised to see us.

Piper: guys! It's been so long.

She got up and ran over to hug us.

Leo: to long. Why didn't you visit?

He also walked over and hugged us.

Chris: well we were just living in our time I guess.

Phoebe: what are you doing back?

Wyatt: right before we left your older selves started screaming and holding their heads in pain.

Chris: they told us to come back to 2009 and get your help.

Melinda: so, do you know any reason as to why your older selves would want us to come back to 2009?

Piper: no. I don't know why our older selves would be screaming in pain either.

Phoebe: maybe it's something that's about to happen.

Paige: yeah. We have been having a weird amount of peace lately. I bet it has something to do with that.

Just then Prudence came down the stairs.

Chris: Prudence!? What are you doing back here?

Prudence: sorry but I came with a message.

She looked towards Coop.

Prudence: hi dad.

Coop: so that's uh ...

Phoebe: Prudence, yeah.

Coop: hi.

Melinda: anyway, what's the message?

Prudence: well, I couldn't understand all of it through the screaming, but older Piper said something about a demon and making a pact with him.

Piper: a pact? Why would we make a pact with a demon?

Phoebe: I think it's time to reconsider Paige's statement. I think what is going on in your time is going to be the result of this peace.

Tam and Kat came down the stairs.

Wyatt: what are you doing here?

Tam: we have another message.

Kat: by the way, they are going to keep sending kids until the message is completely out.

Paige: who are they?

Tam: mom!?

Paige: oh man.

Henry: Kat?

Kat: no I'm Kat, that's Tam.

She pointed at Tam.

Paige: you two look so much alike as adults. As toddlers you don't look alike at all.

Tam: we grew to look alike.

Melinda: what's the message?

Tam: the pact will be made with a demon named Naz.

Piper: we don't know any demons named Naz. Do we?

She looked around the room and everyone shook their heads.

Phoebe: this is getting weird.

Chris: well, apparently we should be waiting for the next message.
