Day 656
Wednesday 13th June 2018

Oh my God, what a day!

When I woke up in the morning, I made my way downstairs and entered the hallway when Ollie came running over to me. She whimpering. "What's up girl?" I asked. Ollie was nudging me. It was like she wanted me to follow her.  Ollie ran into the kitchen and started scratching at the door that led down to the cellar. I frowned with curiosity, walked into the kitchen and opened the cellar door. I immediately heard a muffled voice echoing up the stairs. Feeling totally confused I walked down the stairs and entered the lower ground level of the house. Ollie followed. "Oh my God," I said, as I looked toward the corner of the cellar, shocked at what was before me. It was Mike. He was tied to a chair, bound and gagged with dried blood on the left side of his head. I loudly shouted for Tara and the others as I ran over to Mike and started removing his gag and untying his ropes. "What happened?" I frantically asked, "Are you OK? Did Janine do this to you?" "Yeah, she did," snapped an angry Mike, "I'm going to kill that dirty little piggy." "What happened?" I asked. Tara, Esther and Dotty then appeared running down the cellar stairs and joining me at the scene. "What's going on?" asked Dotty. "That's what I'm trying to find out," I said. "It's obvious isn't it?" said an angry Esther, "This is Janine's handy work." "Why would Janine want to tie Mike up down here?" asked Dotty. "Because she's a f*cking psycho," I snapped. "Mike what have you done?" asked serious sounding Tara. "I was trying to fix things," snapped Mike, "I waited until everyone was asleep, including that filthy little squealer, and then I crept into her room and tried to kill her." "Oh Mike," said Tara, rolling her eyes. "None of us want her here," emphasized Mike, "I was trying to just get rid of her. After all the sh*t she's put us through I should have killed her ages ago." "So," said Tara, "You tried to kill her and you underestimated her." "She gave me a right whack on the head and knocked me out. When I woke up I was tied up down here." "Why didn't you talk to us about this?" asked Esther. "I talked to Luke," said Mike. Tara, Dotty and Esther gave me a stern and unimpressed look. "Don't look at me!" I loudly exclaimed, "None of this is my fault. I didn't go all Pulp Fiction and tie Mike up in the cellar." "I told you I'd fix everything," Mike said to me. "I didn't know what the Hell you were going on about," I snapped. "For God's sake, Mike," Tara said rolling her eyes, "Why couldn't you just leave things alone?" "I was going to kill her and do us all a favour," exclaimed Mike. "Why do we have to kill anyone?" asked an upset and angry Dotty, "Haven't enough people died?" "Dotty, mate," said Esther, "I know you get on with Janine, but she can't come with us. Not after this." "Jesus, Mike," said Tara, "I was going to get rid of her today. I wish you'd talked to us about this. I was going to wait until we'd got both of the cars and then I was going to kill Janine when we were out of here." "Oh were you now?" a smug voice from the top of the cellar stairs said. We all turned round and saw Janine stood at the top of the stairs. The atmosphere suddenly went very tense. "So," said Janine, with a casual but intimidating tone, "You've all been planning my death have you?" Mike walked to the bottom of the cellar stairs and looked up at Janine with a furious expression on his face. "You dirty piggy," said Mike, as he gritted his teeth with anger, "I'm going to rip off your t*ts, tie 'em together and strangle you to death with them." Mike then gave a loud, aggressive roar and stormed up the stairs, preparing to launch himself at Janine, but he wasn't quick enough. Janine slammed the cellar door shut and locked it. Mike started aggressively slamming his fists against the door and aggressively trying to knock it down. "Mike, stop it," I cried, "You'll hurt yourself." "Open this door right now you f*cking dirty piggy!" Mike loudly said. "I don't think so" said Janine, from the other side of the door, "You know, I don't think all of us going to The Base together is going to work; what with you all plotting to kill me. I think I'll go on my own. I've got Tara's pretty little map which shows me how to get there and I've got two cars to choose from." I looked at Tara with panic on my face. "Sh*t she's got your map," I said. "Doesn't matter," said Tara, "I'M the map. I know how to get there." "Janine, come on," said Dotty, calling out to her, "We can talk about this." "Sorry Dotty," said Janine, "I've had enough of talking. I haven't tried to kill anyone, in fact I saved Luke's life and how do I get thanked? Mike scares the sh*t out of me in the middle of the night and Tara starts planning my death." Mike's anger increased as he aggressively started slamming his fists against the door. "OPEN THIS F*CKING RIGHT NOW!" he violently yelled. "No," Janine, bluntly said, from the other side, "You lot can stay down there and rot. F*ck the lot of you. I'm going to take one of the cars and make my own way to The Base." "You're a fool Janine," Tara called out, "When we get to The Base and tell them what you've done they'll just chuck you out." "I don't think so," said Janine, "Because I'll get there before you and I'll tell them what YOU'VE done." "Janine, please," said Dotty, "You can't keep us down here. Think of the kids." "Don't worry," said Janine, "That old bag Meryl can look after the brats. I'm off now. I wish I could say it was nice knowing you all, but it wasn't. See you at The Base. If they let you in. BYE!" Janine then left. Mike started repeatedly banging his head, violently against the door in a fit of rage. I gently put my arm on Mike's shoulders and pulled him away from the door. "Mike, calm down," I said, "It's OK." "It's not OK!" Mike loudly an angrily said, "That dirty, filthy little squealer has locked us down here and taken one of the cars!" "Thanks for the update Captain Obvious," said Esther. "Oh Esther shut up," I said. I walked with Mike down the stairs and re-joined the others. "Please don't tell me we're all going to be stuck underground again," I said. "Oh Luke, shut up," said Esther, "Your Auntie's upstairs. She'll get us out." "Oh great," I said, "Locked underground with our only hope of rescue resting with Auntie Meryl. Well we're all going to die aren't we?" "Oh Luke, grow up and stop being stupid," said Esther. "I can't believe she just left us down here," said Dotty. "Can't you?" I exclaimed, "We DID tell you that she was a complete tw*t," I said, "But you wouldn't listen." "None of this would have happened if you'd have treated Janine with a  bit of respect," snapped Dotty, "Maybe if you all weren't so keen to murder her she wouldn't have locked us all down here." "YOU WHAT!?" yelled an angry Mike. "Are you on f*cking acid?" I snapped, "She's just locked us all down here and took off without us, leaving your five month old son upstairs with my batty old Auntie." "No one hits me over the head, ties me up and gets away with it," said an angry Mike. "Except Janine," said Esther. "God, Esther," I snapped, "Will you shut up?" "Don't talk to me like that," Esther firmly said. "I'll talk to you however the Hell I want to," I snapped back. "Will you both shut up," said Tara, "We need to get out of here. Come on, let's start shouting for Meryl."

We spent ages shouting and calling for Auntie Meryl but she didn't come. This was annoying. "We've been shouting for ages," Esther snapped at me, "What the f*ck is wrong with your Auntie? Is she deaf as well as dumb?" "Oi, that's my Auntie," I snapped, "Don't you talk about her like that." "You talk about her like that all the time," exclaimed Esther. "She's my Auntie not yours," I snapped. "Oh God will you two shut up," snapped Tara, "This isn't helping." At that moment the door opened to reveal a confused looking Auntie Meryl in the door way. "Oh," she said, "It was you making all that noise? What are you all doing down there?" "Janine locked us down here," said a firm Esther. "Who?" asked Auntie Meryl. Esther rolled her eyes. "We've been down here since this morning," said Tara, "We've been shouting for hours. "Didn't you hear us?" I asked in disbelief. "Well I heard something," said Auntie Meryl, "But I didn't know it was you lot." "Didn't you wonder where we all were?" I exclaimed. "Well that moody woman said you all wanted some time on your own," said Auntie Meryl. "I'll bet she did," said Mike through gritted teeth. "You mean Janine don't you?" I said. "Oh I don't know what she's called?" said Auntie Meryl, "Anyway, I don't care if you want time on your own, I'm not looking after three kids on my own." "We don't want time on our own," I exclaimed, "We never wanted time on our own." "Then why did you tell that Janice woman you did?" asked Auntie Meryl. "Janine!" I loudly snapped. "What?" asked Auntie Meryl. "Oh for God's sake," I snapped, "We've been down here for hours trying to get out. We've all been shouting your name." "Oh," said Auntie Meryl, "I thought you were shouting for Beryl." "Beryl?" I bluntly said, "Beryl? Who the F*CK is Beryl?" "I don't know," said Auntie Meryl, "You lot were shouting her, not me." "We were shouting YOU, not Beryl," I snapped. "Oh so there is someone called Beryl," said Auntie Meryl. "No!" I loudly said, "There's no one called f*cking Beryl." "Well what are you going on about someone called Beryl for?" asked Auntie Meryl. "I'm not going on about anyone called f*cking Beryl!" I loudly said. "Oh God," said a frustrated Tara, "Just shut up. We need to see what damage Janine has done." We all exited the cellar, shaking our heads in disbelief at Auntie Meryl.

Janine didn't only take one of the cars, she slashed the tyres on the other car. "Great!" I loudly snapped, "F*cking great. We're stuck here now." "There's got to be some way we can get out of here," said Esther. "Really?" I sarcastically said, "Got four spare types in your back pocket have you?" "Well I can't say I'm surprised," said Tara, "Slashing the tyres means we can't go chasing after her. Maybe we all underestimated her." Dotty then appeared. "She's taken nearly all of the food and water," said Dotty, "I can't believe she's done this." "Well she has," I snapped, "Maybe now you'll see her for the evil b*tch that she is."

Mike is really angry and I mean REALLY angry. I've actually felt a bit scared being around him. He's furiously told me that he's determined to track Janine down and make her suffer before killing her. He's annoyed with himself for not killing her the first opportunity he had. If we ever do catch up with Janine Mike is going to destroy her.

Tara's p*ssed off too. "I'm starting to think we're never going to get to The Base," she said in frustration. "Well what are we going to do now?" I asked. "Well we need food, water and supplies," said Tara, "Not to mention a car. I think we should go out on a run tomorrow and look for what we need." "On foot?" I said. "Yep," said Tara, "I know it's dangerous but we haven't got a choice have we? We need some sort of transport; we don't have a car and we've got three kids to look after. I think we should get up early and look around the area. There's got to be a car around here somewhere." "How far out do we go?" I asked. Tara shrugged. "I don't know," she said, "As far out as we need to, to find food, supplies and a vehicle that can fit us all in. If we didn't have three little kids and your Auntie with us, we could get to The Base on foot." "Walk?" I exclaimed, "We'd get slaughtered." "Maybe," said Tara, "But at this point I'm prepared to risk anything to get to The Base. Tomorrow, let's just focus on getting what we need, getting out of here and FINALLY getting to The Base."

My leg is fine now. I can put a good amount of weight on it now so I'm going to go out with Tara and the others tomorrow to look for supplies and a car. While I'm p*ssed of that we've lost our food, water and transport, I'm really happy and quite relieved that Janine has gone. I don't know if she'll make it to The Base. I hope she doesn't. I hope she crashed into a tree and gets eaten by infected, but for now I'm just glad that she's gone and that we've seen the back of her. F*cking twisted b*tch.
