Day 753
Tuesday 18th September 2018
What a day! Yesterday's shocking revelations were nothing – and I mean NOTHING compared to what we all found out today. I think I'm in the biggest state of shock I've ever been in, in my entire life. All of a sudden everything makes sense but it's left all of us absolutely flabbergasted.
Whilst the second part of the day was a lot more eventful than the first part, the morning was still rather tense. We were all feeling very feeling sad and traumatised by the death of Parrissa and Caroline and whilst we were mourning our losses there was an uneasy atmosphere and a lot of hate towards Tara. "If I get my hands on that Tara I'm going to strangle her so hard, her eyes will pop out of her head and she'll sh*t herself," sapped Trudy. "You'll have to get in line," said Naomi, "The second we get out of here I'm going to rip her cold heart out and feed it to her." "IF we get out of here," said Richard, "I'm starting to think we're going to be stuck in here forever." "Oh don't worry," said a menacing sounding Mike, "We'll get out of here, and when we do I'm going to look that filthy squealer Tara right in the eye as I stick a blade right in her gut, give it a good twist and watch her choke on her own blood." "Oh for God's sake," I angrily snapped, "Will you all shut up?" "What you on about Nanna?" said Trudy, "Aren't you angry with her?" "Yes of course I am," I firmly said, "I just think there's been enough death and enough killing. We don't need to talk about any more." "I'll talk about killing that evil b*tch until the cows come home," said an angry Trudy, "She was the one who arranged for our kids to be kidnapped." "Exactly," I snapped, "So instead of putting your energy into killing Tara, put it into thinking about the kids, how we can get them back and how we can get out of here." "I think once we get the kids back we need to try and get to City One," said Naomi, "I don't want to be in an ACROBAT facility for any longer than I have to." "Yeah but we have no idea where this City One place is do we?" said Mia. "Well we need to find out," said Naomi. "How we going to do that?" asked TJ, "Seth was the only one who knew how to get there, and these ACROBAT goons aren't going to tell us how to get there are they?" "I just want to know why we're so important to them," I said, "If they didn't just want us for the Feemh Oak experiment what did they want us for?" "Yeah and what's this ACROBAT seven sh*t all about?" said Trudy, "Do you know, I can't think about it too much cos it f*cks my head up." "I still can't believe that that weird bloke who kept rubbing his bum on the seat at the sexual health clinic was some undercover ACROBAT agent," said TJ, "Makes you wonder who else around here could be a secret ACROBAT agent." "Let's just focus on getting out of here and getting the kids back," I said. "Hmmm," said TJ, "That's just what some sort of undercover mole would say." "Or maybe an undercover mole would distract the suspicion from him on to someone else," I said. "Stop it the pair of you," said a firm Naomi, "This is NOT the time for you two to start bickering." "Well all we can do now is wait," said Mia. "Well I'm not waiting," said a firm Trudy. "Look, she's right," I said to Trudy, "The only way out of here is to take the roof off and I don't know how us lot are going to do that." "So, are you saying we should just wait here and sit on our arses until those ACROBAT f*ckers show up and tell us what they've got planned for us next?" "I suppose that's as a good as it gets for now," said a glum Richard. "Oh p*ss off you miserable tw*t," snapped Trudy. It was annoying sitting round and waiting for something to happen but there really was nothing we could do. We talked about throwing things up at the cameras to get someone's attention but after a bit of discussion on the matter we decided there was no point.
I decided to try and have a chat with Kyle. Later in the morning I approached him and tried to talk to him. When he saw me walking over to him he stood and started to walk off. "No, Kyle, wait a minute," I said, grabbing hold of him. "Get off me," snapped Kyle, yanking his arm out of my grip. "Look, I just want to talk," I said, "Are you alright?" Kyle gave a slight laugh. "Oh yeah," he sarcastically said, "I'm great. My estranged Dad killed my Mum. I'm over the f*cking moon." "I didn't kill her, it was Tara," I firmly said. "You didn't save her," snapped Kyle. "Neither did you," I firmly said. "I wasn't there," sapped an angry Kyle. "No but I was and I know what happened," I assertively said, "There's a big difference between not being able to save someone and killing them." "Not in my book," said Kyle. "Then you need to get another book," I said, "Kyle I'm just as upset about all this as you are." "No you're not," snapped Kyle, "You hated her. Everyone knows that." "Calm down," I said, "We didn't get on but I didn't mean hated her." "THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE HER!?" screamed Kyle. "She'd been shot in the stomach!" I loudly exclaimed, "She'd had it. I knew it, she knew it; we both knew it. She had minutes before she was going to turn. What would you have done in my situation?" "I'd have tried to save her," snapped Kyle. "How?" I bluntly said, "What on Earth could you have done that I couldn't." Kyle lowered his head and looked distressed but also uncertain. "Come on," I forcefully said, "What the Hell would you have done?" "Well if you'd have never turned up, she'd still be alive!" Kyle loudly snapped, "I wish you'd never come to the zoo. In fact I wish none of us had ever met you. I hate you. I f*cking hate you. You're not my Dad. I'm an orphan." Kyle then stormed off to the other side of the room. Roz approached me just as I was about to shout after Kyle. "Leave him," said Roz, "He just needs to calm down." "It wasn't my fault," I said, "Why can't he see that? You know that don't you?" "I know it was Tara who killed her," said Roz. "Thank you," I exclaimed. "It doesn't mean it wasn't your fault," said Roz. "You what?" I angrily snapped. "YOU came to the zoo," said Roz, "YOU brought all this baggage, all this ACROBAT drama with you. We were doing fine until you lot showed up." "Sorry but that's bang out of order," I exclaimed, "I didn't kill Caroline, I didn't know any of this was going to happen and I didn't know Tara was going to turn out to be some two-faced liar. I went down that corridor to try and get her out of here." "I just wish you'd never come back into her life," said Roz, "The woman I love is dead. You might not have killed her, but are you responsible?" "No," I snapped. "Hmmm," said Roz, "I'm not so sure." Roz then walked off making me feel like public enemy number one. It's not my fault Caroline's dead. Saying it's my fault, just because we turned up is a bit like saying it's Hitler's Mum's fault that World War II happened because she gave birth to him. Ridiculous. Tensions are running high at the moment so I need to pick my battles carefully but for now, and until all this is sorted out I need to be careful about how I interact with Roz and Kyle. It's a shame really. Kyle's my oldest son and I really thought we were starting to build some sort of a relationship but now it's like we've gone ten steps back after taking two steps forward. With Caroline dead I think Kyle needs his Dad but I'm practically a stranger to him and after everything that's gone on I'm not sure what sort of relationship we're ever going to have. . .
