Day 752
Monday 17th September 2018

Jesus Christ my head is spinning! After this morning's stress, trauma and earth shattering revelations I feel like I've been spun round on the waltzers all day at a hundred miles an hour.

The day started, after I'd got next to no sleep, spending most of the night squashed in the corner of the small area of the corridor, dazed out of my head, looking at Laura and Caroline's dead bodies. I just kept thinking that I had no idea what I was going to tell Roz or Kyle. Feeling rather traumatised and flitting between looking into space and staring at Laura and Caroline's corpses I suddenly heard a swishing sound. Feeling unenthused, I slowly raised my head and looked up. The doors revealing the corridor that led back to the large white cinema styled room were opened and four ACROBAT soldiers wearing the usual black PVC outfits were stood around the entrance. Armed with the futuristic looking machine guns, they pointed their weapons at me and ordered me to my feet. Feeling slightly dissociated and rather out of it, I slowly stood up thinking 'what's the point?' One of the ACROBAT goons pointed his gun at me, told me to get moving and that I was going to join the others. I looked down at Caroline's dead body and the back of her mangled head with a feeling of what I can only describe as numb. I removed Laura's cardigan from her body and wrapped it around Caroline's head. "What you doing?" one of the ACROBAT goons snapped. Ignoring him I continued wrapping Laura's cardigan around Caroline's head. I wanted to take her back to Kyle and Roz but I didn't want them to see what I had done to her. I scooped Caroline up in my arms and looked emotionally at the armed guards. "Leave her here," one of them firmly said. Remaining silent and ignoring the guards and I walked straight past them, and with Caroline's body in my arms I slowly started walking down the corridor. The ACROBAT soldiers followed me as I made my way down the corridor. I felt completely detached from the situation; a bit like I just didn't care anymore.

After a few minutes I came to the end of the corridor and found myself stood in the doorway to the large white cinema styled room. It was the same room but the seats had been removed and there was a large glass screen with a door in it separating the stage area from what used to be the seating area. I looked through the large piece of glass and saw that the others were locked inside. A few of the others noticed me and ran up to the glass, waving at me and looking excited to see me. "It's Luke!" Mike loudly and excitedly shouted, "He's alright." "Hang on, what's he carrying?" asked a curiously cautious Trudy. "Something's wrong," said a serious sounding Naomi. "Where's Mum!?" Kyle loudly exclaimed. The door in the glass partition swished opened and I walked over to doorway, entered the separated part of the room and placed Caroline's body in the middle of the floor. The door shut and locked behind me as everyone looked on in horror and dismay. I looked ahead at everyone with an emotionless and detached expression as Caroline's body separated us. "That's Mum," said a confused a confused Kyle, as he looked down at Caroline's body with confusion. "IT'S MUM!" he yelled, as he ran over to Caroline's body and dropped to his knees. "What's happened?" said a frantic Kyle, "Why isn't she moving? She looks like she's been shot. What's this thing round her head?" Kyle started to remove the cardigan I'd wrapped around Caroline's mashed up head when Naomi quickly stepped forward and stopped him. "No, Kyle, don't," she said with a serious tone, grabbing his arm and trying to pull him back. "Get off me!" Kyle loudly snapped, wrenching his arm from Naomi's grip, "I want to see her." Kyle continued to remove the cardigan as Naomi continued to try and pull him back. "GET OFF ME!" Kyle yelled. "Kyle STOP IT!" yelled an assertive Roz, stepping forward and yanking Kyle up from the floor, "She's dead. Look at her. She's dead. You know that." "No!" shouted Kyle, "I want to see her." "Kyle, you don't want to see her," said a gentle Naomi, "Luke's put this thing around her head for a reason. You want to remember your Mum how she was don't you? You don't need to see her like this." Kyle yanked his arm out of Roz's tight hold and gave her and Naomi and furious stare. "F*CK OFF!" he shouted, as tears streamed down his face. He then quickly returned to the floor and continued removing the cardigan from Caroline's head. "Kyle don't!" Naomi said with urgency. It was too late. He'd removed the cardigan and everyone could see the mangled mess of squashed flesh and blood covered bits of skull that was once Caroline's head. There was a heart stopping gasp. Some turned away and some looked on in horror. Roz starred at the horrific sight as tears ran down her face. Naomi quickly grabbed the cardigan out of Kyle's hand and covered what was left of Caroline's face with it. After looking shocked and like he was frozen to the spot for a moment, Kyle jumped to his feet, ran to the corner of the room and vomited on the floor. Roz dropped her knees and started sobbing over Caroline's cold lifeless body. "Luke what the Hell have you done?" exclaimed Richard. "What happened?" asked Trudy. "He's f*cking lost it again," snapped TJ, "That's what's happened. He shot and killed Ashley and Jessica and now he's gone mad and shot Caroline." "TJ, shut up," snapped Naomi, "Luke hasn't got a gun. It's obvious what happened. Those ACROBAT f*ckers have shot Caroline and Luke's done what needed to be done to stop her turning into an infected." "Come off it She-Ra," exclaimed TJ, "He didn't have to go that far. Look at the f*cking state of her face. It looks like something you'd find in the bottom a butcher's kitchen bin." "TJ, shut up," snapped Naomi, "Use your brain you f*cking pr*ck." "Come on Nicola," said Trudy, "TJ's got a point. It DOES look like he's gone a bit far." "He didn't have a choice!" Naomi loudly exclaimed, "For God's sake, you know what happens when you get killed – you ALL know. This is a horrible set of circumstances. What would you have wanted him to do? Stay trapped down there, waiting for Caroline to turn and try and fight her off. Not great for Luke and not great for Caroline." "Oh, whereas this is a much more dignified end," exclaimed a sarcastic TJ. "Shut up!" yelled an angry and emotional Roz, "Just shut up. Christ, can you all just have a bit of respect!?" Silence fell and then Kyle looked over at me with fury on his face and tears running down his cheeks. "It's your fault," he angrily snapped, "It's your fault she's dead." "Kyle, stop it," said Naomi, "It's no one's fault. "It is!" yelled Kyle, It's his fault! He did this!" Kyle then launched into a fit of rage, threw himself at me and started to repeatedly thumping my chest. "YOU KILLED HER! he hysterically yelled, "YOU KILLED HER! IT'S YOUR FAULT!" I just stood there, emotionlessly looking into space as Kyle aggressively and repeatedly hit my chest. Naomi and TJ grabbed hold of Kyle, and even though it was a struggle for them, they managed to drag him away from me. "Kyle stop it!" yelled Naomi. "You said you'd look after her!" yelled a very angry and emotional Kyle, as TJ and Naomi pulled him away from me, "You said you'd make sure she was alright. You don't care do you? You don't f*cking care!?" Naomi grabbed hold of Kyle, turned him around, made him face her and grabbed hold of him tightly by the arms. "Kyle, stop it!" she loudly snapped with authority, "He does care. Of course he cares. He's just in shock. Look at him for God's sake." Mike walked over to me and affectionately rubbed me on my arm. "Luke," he tentatively said, "Are you alright babes?" I ignored him and continued staring into space. Mike frowned and pointed at Kyle. "You touch him again and you'll be joining your Mum," said a firm Mike. "We all just need to calm down," said a firm Naomi, "We're all going through a lot. Turning on each other and fighting amongst ourselves is exactly what ACROBAT want." "Well where's that Laura?" asked Mia, "Has she got anything to do with this?" "She's dead," I said in a monotone of voice. A short silence fell. "Well who killed her?" asked Mia. "I did," a strong female voice said, from outside the partitioned part of the room.
