Bobby cursed as his "Sneak" skill faded out on him. The skill was leveled up a few times, and he can keep it up for just under 45 minutes now, but it was still not enough to hide from the ever-present zombies roaming the city of Manila. They simply infested the place.

Bobby ducked back at the car he was hiding from and waited for the pair of zombies to shamble away in a different direction.

He wanted to start pacing to calm his nerves down but obviously, he can't do that, and he needed to lay still. The whole situation only added to his irritation, and he sighed.

Just a few hours ago he was happy. Especially when he found out that he leveled up with a whopping 27 levels!

When he first click the LEVEL UP button after the bridge battle, the first thing Bobby notice is the abnormal number of attribute points available to him. Usually, the Attribute points he receives is two, but he receives five instead. It's not that he is complaining, he just didn't understand why.

His first guest is because of his high "Luck," but since he is not sure, he proceeded to research more about attribute points and to understand his Character sheet. Most of the information he found out is from the Galepedia in his menu system.

And he learned a lot. He learned for example that the quality of the information you can derive from the Galepedia change with the level of your Wisdom. And with a wisdom of 47, He probably has the most comprehensive data Information in his Galepedia than any other player in the world at that given time.

And through reading Galepedia, Bobby finally understood that the attribute points are directly affected by the Intellect of the character. The system provides you with 2 attribute points whatever your INT is at the start of your character, But when you reach an INT of 15 then your attribute point will increase by one, then another by INT 20 and then another at INT 25 and so on, until you reach the Max bonus attribute of 10 when you reach INT of 50.

Bobby finds the fact that this info is not universally known by the rest of the players a bit shady. This vital info will make life easier for many players out there since the difference given by two attribute points compare to say five is the difference between life and death to many people.

Even people who typically invest a lot to INT like mages either overlook this or never really comprehend the rules given to attribute points. Since it is the primary attribute that increases the strength of magic and the number of mana points, INT is very crucial for any spell caster. However, the reality is not that simple. Every mage who'd been in a fight with the undead realize early on that they cannot rely on magic alone, and therefore are forced to invest in many other attributes like STR, AGI, and CON. Also investing in WIS is a strategic move since it lowers the use of mana and is needed in specialized magic. Even DEX sometimes is important enough to invest in because of hand waving and rune making.

The point is, that if you do not fully know that INT actually increase your attribute points every five INT, then there is no way for people to stumble upon it on their own, at least not until it is too late. When they reach INT of thirty or 25, when they have a significant chance of actually realizing the rules about INT and attributes, by then they would have already leveled up a bunch of times. Even those who notice that they have extra attribute points and have an inkling or guess it or theorize about it, they will not fully know and will hesitate to invest the necessary points, at least not all of it, to INT and get the maximum benefit from it.
