"Are you alright?" Bobby said, watching with concern as the Base Commander continued coughing when he choked from a huge chunk of meat stuck in his throat when he started eating his McBobby.

He raised his hand to show he is fine but he continued coughing. Bobby silently pushed a mineral bottle next to the commander.

Grateful, the base commander opened it up and drank a considerable portion of it in one go. A moment later his color returned back to normal.

"Aah! That was good! Thank you!" He said cheerfully. Bobby watched him for a minute longer. Only when he himself is satisfied, did he relaxed back to his chair.

The colonel stared back at his half-eaten burger and shook his head. "Only when things are gone will you start to appreciate it really. Once I will throw an entire burger to my dog because the very sight of it makes me want to puke. Now look at me, I'm guarding this thing with my life!"

A soft knock and the pretty secretary entered the room. "Sorry to bother you, sir, I just want to remind you that the head of the supply department will be here in five minutes."

Meaning you should wrap things up with me, Bobby thought.

Good.

"Tell Gerard that our meeting is postponed until tomorrow."

"But sir..." The secretary said, clear disapproval in her face.

"He will just tell me that we are in dire need of additional supplies and he has a brilliant plan: increase the tax in the magical store. Again. I heard it all, and I don't want to hear it again until tomorrow."

The secretary bowed and left the room.

"So, where were we?"

Bobby sighed. "I describe to you our boring cleaning job with my new team, and then our handler let us go."

"What did you do after?"

Bobby leaned back in his chair as he made a big show of trying to remember the last few days. "I remember going to the plaza buying a few things for dinner, and then I came back home."

"You had nothing to do with that big brouhaha in that secret fight club two days ago?"

Bobby searched the colonel's face. "Why do you asked?"

It's the colonel's turn to sigh, but Bobby can see that the Colonel was still closely looking at him. "It seems that our intelligence regarding the organized crime in our base is somewhat not up to date. Three days ago, there was a massacre in a warehouse we believe belongs to Bernardo, then two days ago, a secret bar owned and operated by Bernardo's lieutenant was attacked, and more than a hundred people got hurt. It seems that Bernardo has some competition."
