Chapter 52

THOMAS POV:

I heard some sounds. The box. I still remember everything. I guess the maze guy was telling the truth. Wait why am I back in the maze? I was never taken from my family correct? The box started moving up. I bolted up and gasped for air. I looked around. WHY AM I IN THE SHUCKING BOX? I heard a animal noise and back up till I hit some boxes. The box started moving faster. I slowly crawled up to box with the animal in it. I pulled back the blanket. I jumped back. THE ANGRY PIG. I stood up and started banging on the top of the cage. "HEY, HEY MAZE" I yelled. No answer. "SOME ONE HELP ME" I yelled. The box reached the top and stopped. It stopped so fast that I fell. I look around scared. The red light turned green and then darkness. The top opened up and I was met with a blinding light. I had to use my arm to shield my eyes with shade. I heard the boys laugh a little. I slowly put my arm down and let my eyes adjust. The boys opened the gate. 

I backed up a little. "Go get him Gally" said a boy. Gally jumped down. "Day one greenie. Rise and shine" he said. Gally picked me up and dropped me outside the box. I laid on my back and looked at all the boys. I saw Newt. I didn't feel the same connection like last time. Newt was smiling at me. The same smile as last time. I got up and ran. "HEY WE GOT A RUNNER" a boy yelled. I kept running. "Hey" said Maze. I face planted and rolled over a few times. I looked up and saw Maze. I stood up and brushed myself off. "What happened I thought I wasn't taken from my family" I said. "You weren't" said Maze. "Then why am I here" I asked. "Same reason all the other humans were sent here. To be prepared for the war but in reality it's just so the halfings have control over them" said Maze. "So I'm human" I asked. "Yes, and you are also the only one who can see and hear me, but you wanted to be human so have fun" said Maze. 

The boys ran up to me and I was taken to pit again. I was tossed in and they locked it. Maze shrunk to the size of a action figure and jumped down. He grew back to normal size. "What are you" I asked. "Half griever, half human, and 100% electronie" said Maze. I was confused. "Elec what" I asked. "Long story" said Maze. I walked up to the gate. "Hey" said Alby. I jumped back scared a little. Maze laughed a little. Alby squatted in front of the gate. "Hey there green bean. You're not gonna run again okay" said Alby. I nodded. "Good" said Alby. He unlocked the gate and squatted again. "My name is Alby. Now can you tell me a little bit about yourself. Who you are, where you came from" asked Alby. "I'm Thomas" I said. "Nice to meet you Thomas. Is your name all you remember" asked Alby. "Ya" I lied. I can't tell him what I remember and it doesn't matter cause it no longer happened. "Well that's normal. It's the one thing they let us keep" said Alby. "What is this place" I asked. "Let me show you" said Alby holding out his hand. I took it and climbed out of the pit. Maze climbed out by himself. Alby started giving me the tour.
