Chapter 113

THOMAS POV: 

Gally and Brenda entered the room. "Hey Thomas, you okay" asked Gally. "Ya" I said. "What is that green stuff" asked Brenda. "No idea, we thought about having WCKD test it" said Teresa. "Now that I think about it Gally how did you know Thomas was missing? It's not even lunch yet" said Newt. "I was looking for him" said Gally. "Why" I asked. "I decided to become half griever but every one else was too busy for me to talk to them" said Gally. "Well, at least he saved Thomas in a way. Other wise we would of waited till lunch" said Brenda. "How does me becoming half griever even work" asked Gally. "I don't know. I mean Minho should because he was human before but Thomas was only a baby" said Newt. I felt a contraction and groaned in pain. "Tommy are you okay" Newt asked. "Ya, just a contraction I think" I said. Newt rubbed my stomach. "How, you are only 7 months" said Brenda. "It's a fake contraction. It should be fine" said Teresa. Every was disgusted. "What" I asked. "You're eye" said Gally. I then realized both my eyes were open. 

"Okay can we cover that? Please" asked Teresa. "How is the eye able to open? You just got it today" said Newt. "My eye feels fine. I mean it hurts a little bit but it feels more normal" I said. "Let's just get some lunch and hopefully WCKD can explain this" said Teresa. "Okay but this shank has to cover his eye. I'm not staring at the goo coming out of it while I eat" said Gally. "I'll be right back" said Teresa. She left and came back with a eye patch. I put it on over my bad eye. 

NEWT POV: 

"Well, it works" said Brenda. I help Thomas up. "Come on, and let's not mention the goo until later" I said. We walked to the kitchen. Thomas sat down at a table and I got two trays of food. I sat down with Tommy, Brenda, Teresa, and Gally. We started eating. Every once in a while a glader would look over at Thomas. Because of the eye patch. After lunch was the same. We waited till night and then went to go see WCKD. Brenda and Teresa wanted to sleep so we left them in the glade. 

Minho typed in the code and we left. "So they basically put you to sleep and then you wake up half griever but you are stiff for about a hour or so" said Minho. We entered the office room. "I assume you made your choice" said. "Yes, Gally will become half griever but we were hoping you can run some test on Thomas to see what is happening" I said. "Very well. Also the beetle blades aren't the best at scanning your health but they did pick up 10 thousand bolts of electricity in side Thomas" said the boss. We were shocked. "What the bloody fuck, I don't understand. How is that possible. He should be dead" I said. "I'm no expert but shouldn't Thomas have felt it" asked Minho. "No idea. That's why we are running test" said the boss. The boss started taking us to a room. Gally was sent to be put to sleep and become half griever. Thomas laid down on the bed and some nurses started to test him. Minho and I stood against the wall. I crossed my arms. I know Tommy will be okay but I'm worried. "So I've been thinking" said Minho. "No Minho, they aren't gonna give you more hair gel then what they already do" I said annoyed. "I was talking about Thomas" said Minho.
