Chapter 123

THOMAS POV: 

"Aris told Chuck and me everything and what you are" said Lake. Brenda and Teresa frowned as they bolted up. They stood in front of me. "If you want to hurt Thomas you have to go threw us first" said Brenda. We stood there in silence as everyone watched. "Perhaps we should talk about this somewhere more private but bring your husbands" said Lake. He started leaving. "Knowing Lake that place can be anyway" said Teresa. "Let's start looking" said Brenda. "I have to find Chuck first. He knows everything now" I said. "Oh ya, might want to mention how you don't kill people" said Teresa. I left to find Chuck. He was sitting on a bench looking at a small wood carving thing in his hands. I sat down next to him and he looked at me. Chuck looked back at the carving. "Hey Thomas" said Chuck. "Hey, you okay" I asked. "Ya" said Chuck. He looked at me. "I mean I was gonna find out when we leave the maze anyway" said Chuck. "Why did Aris tell you, he isn't half griever anymore" I said. "I guess he just doesn't trust them" said Chuck. 

"Do you still trust me" I asked. "Ya, is this why you are pregnant" asked Chuck. "Ya but you can't tell anyone else about this" I said. "I know, besides we are gonna forget any way" said Chuck. He looked back at the wood carving. "What's that for" I asked."It's from my parents"said Chuck. "I guess you remember them now" I said. "Ya and I'm sure they miss me but I couldn't miss them because I couldn't remember them" said Chuck. "You will see them again" I said. "I know, Thomas" said Chuck looking at me. "Ya" I asked. "When we enter the maze again can you tell me everything" asked Chuck. 

NEWT POV: 

"I say we sting him. It's not his secret to just blurt out" said Tyler. "You can't keep everyone trapped in a maze" said Aris. "Okay but it's not like you can get them back to America" said Gally crossing his arms. "Ya, I mean unless you are able to swim for it but it's too cold" said Ben. "They still have a right to know" said Aris. "Look Aris, I understand you miss your family and everything but it's best they don't remember" I said. 

"Why, we could get out of here" said Aris. "And then what? Go home to a war torn country? How would it be any different from the maze? We would be sent to fight in the army and possible die" I said. "That's what we signed up for. I mean do you honest not miss your mom and dad" asked Aris. "I was born half griever" I said. "Well, that explains why you don't care about humans" said Aris. I frowned. "If I didn't care I would of left everyone up there to freeze. Just because we are half griever doesn't mean we hate humans" I said. "Not to mention this whole war is because the humans don't accept us" said Dakota. Thomas and Chuck entered. Thomas sat down on the bed. "So what's the plan" asked Teresa. "Chuck and Lake can remember until we enter the maze but Aris has to forget we are half griever" I said. "No" said Aris. "Why shouldn't we" asked Lake crossing his arms. "It's my mind and it's my choice" said Aris angrily. "And if everyone knew we are half griever it will cause a up roar. Just be glad you aren't dead" said Alby. Aris frowned.
