Chapter 75

NEWT POV:

"October fifth why" said Teresa. "That's the same day as Thomas" I said. "Well we can throw a surprise birthday party" said Teresa. I was confused. "But you already know it's happening" I said. "I meant a surprise birthday for Thomas. I mean we can't get the gladers in on it cause they would question but you, me, Minho, and maybe Tyler and Dakota I guess can do something" said Teresa. "What about Ben and Alby" I asked. Teresa snickered. "Sure if you wanna tell them" she said sarcastically. I said nothing. Teresa signed and put her hands on her face. "You told them didn't you" said Teresa. "Ben was the one who was watching us last night and he told Alby when I ran after him. I then told them not to tell Thomas" I said. Teresa put her hands down. "Why" asked Teresa. "Because back when Thomas was the greenie Ben was stung and tried to kill him" I said. "And you think he might do it again" said Teresa crossing her arms. "You saw how Tommy acted when we saw Ben. I just don't want him to be too stressed with everything" I said.

"Okay I guess you have a good point. Plus I don't know if it's good for the pregnancy but I don't believe it is. Anyway I won't tell him but you will have to if you want Alby and Ben there" said Teresa. "Okay fine, but we have a week to plan. Any ideas" I asked. "I'll have to get back to you on that. Anyway just go back to work for now. I'll talk to you and Minho about it later" said Teresa. "Okay, and DO NOT tell Tommy" I said. "Ya ya I know. I can keep a secret Newt" said Teresa. 

THOMAS POV:

I just laid there with my eyes closed. I didn't sleep or have any new visions. I sensed a halfing and opened my eyes. I turned my head to see Newt running up to me. "Hey Tommy, you hungry" asked Newt. "Ya" I said. "Good, let's go get some lunch" said Newt. I took his hand and stood up. We walked over to the kitchen and I went to sit with Minho and Teresa. They were taking about something. Teresa noticed me walking up to them and stopped. To be honest I don't care. 

It's probably some relationship talk. It's none of my business because I'm not a part of it. I sat down and Teresa and Minho started eating. Newt came with two trays of food. One for me and one for him. "I got you some extra food Tommy. I don't know when the whole cravings and all that starts" said Newt. "Not yet but I probably will soon" I said. (8-13 weeks I looked it up). We started eating. I wonder if I have twins will I crave extra? I mean I think so because there is two babies growing in my....morning sickness is back. I bolted up and ran out of the kitchen. Newt followed me. I held my hand against the building and sat on my knees throwing up. "You okay Tommy" asked Newt. I nodded. "Ya, just more morning sickness" I said. "How is the baby suppose to get any nutrients if you keep throwing up? Do humans even do that" asked Newt. I finished and whipped my mouth. Newt held me in his arms. "I don't know. I just hope that we get back to our maze soon. I'm sure WCKD sent up some stuff for the pregnancy. Not to mention they have no leader" I said.
