After the girls left I picked up my school bag and headed upstairs. I got a fright when I saw Tristan standing at the top.
'Jheeze Tris, you gave me a fright! I didn't know you were home'
'What was that about Brad talking to Lucy?'
'Huh? Oh, I don't even know myself. I don't know if she was making it up or what but she said they met up. Brad didn't say anything to me though so I don't know'

The first thing Brad said when he got here was, 'Am I in trouble?'. I simply said, no.
'You know I get really panicky when you say you need to talk to me..'
'You don't need to get panicky unless you have something to panic about'
'Ok.. What have I done?'
'Have you met up with Lucy recently?'
'Yeah. I saw her the other day'
'Oh thank god' I sighed. I'm glad he didn't try lying.
'Sorry?'
'Oh I'm just glad you told me you did instead of lying'
'Why would I need to lie about it?'
'I don't know, you didn't even tell me you saw her so..'
'Is Tris home?'
'Yeah he's upstairs, why?'
'Come over to mine and I'll tell you what happened' he whispered to me.
'What? Why can't you just tell me here?'

'I'M JUST HEADING TO BRAD'S' I shouted up to Tristan.
'ALRIGHT' he yelled back.
We got to Brad's and went straight upstairs.
'So, what's so secretive that you couldn't tell me over at mine?'
He let out a sigh.
'Brad?'
'Promise you won't hate me?'
'Right what have you done because I swear to God if you've done something with her I'll never forgive you!'
'No! No, I haven't done anything with her! How can you think that?!'
'Then why would I hate you?!'
'I-I kind of posssibly had a part in hers and Tristan's break up..'
'Huh?'
'Ah shit you don't know..'
'Know what?'
'Crap. Ok promise you won't say anything to him'

'She wanted to meet me and kept pestering me so I gave her 10 minutes. She was going on about how much she missed me and all that and said things with Tristan aren't the same as how things were between us. Anyway, long story short, I just told her that he deserves so much better and if she can't promise to treat him the way she treated me then she needs to let him go'
'Right, and?'
'Well like 5 minutes before I came round yours the other day, she ended it with him.. That's why he's in a weird mood at the moment. I didn't realise how much he actually liked her'
