Surprise Visit {Bucky, Steve, Sam, Natasha, Clint}

You sigh as you finish packing your case, you never expected to feel so homesick. Deciding not to tell anyone was a hard decision, especially to Bucky, who's like a father figure to you. But you sucked it up like a big girl and didn't tell anyone, you wanted to give them a surprise. You heave the heavy case off of your bed and leave your dorm, leaving the campus for the summer. Stanford's always been your dream college since you were saved from HYDRA by Bucky and Steve. You walk off campus and wave goodbye to your friend Rachel

"I'm gonna miss you" She says sadly. You shake your head and laugh at her.

"God Rachel, I'm leaving permanently" You say.

"I know but it feels like you're gonna be gone forever" She says. You pull her in for a hug and let her sob into your shirt for a minute. She pulls away and looks at you, tears still fresh in her eyes. You let her go and salute to her, getting in the cab to the airport. You take in the campus for the last time and sigh, putting your earphones in.

The plane lands in JFK earlier than hoped, making your nerves sky rocket. What if they've forgotten about you? What if you've been replaced? You shake the thoughts out of your head upon remembering what Steve said to you the day you left.

"Come back soon, Y/n, you're always welcome" Steve says, putting his hand on your shoulder.

"Yeah I think I'm actually gonna miss you" Sam says, feigning surprise. You shoot him a bitchface and flip him off.

"What did we tell you about doing that" Steve warns you. You roll your eyes.

"Chill Steve" You say to him. Bucky walks out with your last case and puts it in the back of the car.

"You're definitely sure of this?" Bucky asks, hoping you'll run back in and sit on the couch with him and watch Supernatural with him all day. You look at him and pout.

"Yes Buck i'm sure. But don't you worry that pretty little face of yours because i'll be back as soon as I finish" You say, reassuring him. He pulls you in for a hug, making you laugh and wrap your arms around him.

"Okay Buck, you can let me go" You say, making him hesitantly let you go. Natasha runs out quickly, her towel still on her head and one shoe on.

"Y/n I swear to God if you thought you were leaving without letting me say goodbye you have another thing coming" She says, running up to you, an unamused look on her face.

"Jeez Nat, you really that desperate to say goodbye?" You say, leaning on the trunk of the car.

"Uh yeah, i'm not letting you go with out saying goodbye to her favourite person ever" Natasha says.

"Hate to ya tell Nat, but she already said goodbye to me" Sam says smugly.

You walk out of the terminal, your suitcase trailing behind you. You call over a cab and give them an address that's close to the base, just so he doesn't get any ideas of coming in. You look out of the window the whole way there, taking in the familiar surroundings of New York. You smile upon realising you're nearing the drop off spot, knowing you're going to see your family again. The cab stops and you pay the driver. You step out and get your case from the trunk and begin your short walk to the base.

Bucky lays sprawled out on the couch, flicking through the channels of the TV trying to find one to satisfy his tastes. He groans and turns the TV off, heading to the kitchen to piss off Sam. He stops dead in his tracks when F.R.I.D.A.Y begins to speak.

"Mr. Barnes, I do not advise going in there." The AI Informs in.

"What? Why?" Bucky says, confusion lacing his voice.

"There's an unknown person in there, I have informed the rest of the team" The AI says, and then as if on cue, the rest of the team stand outside of the kitchen door. Steve stands in front of everyone and counts down on his fingers. The team moves back as Steve rams the door open. You hold your hands out and create an invisible force field around you, protecting you from the debris from the busted door.

"Still busting doors I see Steve?" You say, a smirk appearing on your face. You lower your hands and the force field disappears. Steve drops his shield and runs over to you. He wraps you up in his arms and gives you a huge hug.

"Steve–can't–br–eath" You say. Steve lets you go and you catch you breath. Sam comes up next and hugs you, thankfully not as tight as Steve did.

"Wassup tiny?" He mocks you. You pout and use your powers to hit him on the back of the head lightly. He turns around and looks at you with a shocked look on his face, you return a sly smirk.

"Y/n L/n!" You hear Natasha call out. You smile at her.

"Natasha Romanoff!" You say, running towards her. She begins running towards you and you run into each others arms. She swings you around.

"When did you get back?!" She says, sounding like a little kid on Christmas.

"Like 15 minutes ago" You answer. She furrows her eyebrows at you.

"Why didn't you call?" She asks, sounding disappointed.

"Then it wouldn't have been as good as a reaction." You say, making it sound like you've explained this hundreds of times.

"Reaction to what?" Everyone says in unison.

"I can't tell you yet, there's still someone else I gotta see" You say. You look for Bucky, and see him near the back.

"Bucky!" You call out. He turns around and sees you. His eyes widen and he walks towards you. You run over to him and throw yourself into his arms.

"Damn I missed you kid" He says.

"I missed you more" You say.

"No you" Bucky argues.

"No, I missed her more" Clint says. Bucky lets go of you and you jump into Clint.

"BARTON!" You say excitedly.

"L/N!" He says, repeating your tone of voice. You do your handshake with Clint and everyone looks at you, confusion on everyone's features.

"What?" You and Clint ask in unison.

"Since when have you two been so close?" Natasha asks.

"Since like, forever" Clint says.

"wait WHAT?" Sam says, still confused.

"You think I can make the water go cold from the living room? No, no no no no no. Y/n's the coolest kid ever" Clint says.

"So that was you?" Bucky says, sounding offended. He runs towards you, so you run outside and near the pool.

"Gotta catch me Barnes" You tease him.

"I already have" He says, appearing from nowhere. He goes to push you in the pool, but you grab his hand and he then grabs Steves hand, Steve then grabs Sams hand, who grabs Natashas hand who lastly grabs Clints hand. You all go in the water. You use your powers to stop you and Natasha getting wet, causing the rest of them to be mad at you.

"Y/N!"

"Good to be home guys" You say, pulling yourself and Natasha out of the pool.
