You screamed. As a toddler, it was the only thing you could really do. You had somehow managed to end up with your teddy in your pyjama top, you wanted it out badly. Bucky came skidding into the nursery and sighed when he saw you were in no immediate danger. Walking over to the crib, he laughed as he saw your predicament.
"Oh Y/N, you're lucky you're cute, baby," He pulled the soft toy out of your top and laid it beside you, then picking you up and holding you in his arms as your sobs died down. "There you go, it's okay doll," He cooed. You babbled as he looked at the clock on the wall, it was nearly time to get up, there wasn't much point in going to bed now. "How you feel about breakfast?"
"No," Your small voice said. Bucky's eyes grew in size and he looked down at you.
"W-What?" He stuttered. You pouted and crossed your arms, looking up at him.
"Noooooo!" You repeated. Bucky laughed, surprised your first word was no.
"Okay, I suppose I have to stop leaving you with Steve, you're getting stubborn, little lady," He commented. "I can't believe your first word was actually 'No'," Bucky placed you back down in your crib so he could a fresh diaper to change you into. Whining didn't get his attention, but you had something that would.
"Dada!"

"He kicked me off of the team," You told Steve. He sighed as he sat beside you, handing you a glass out water.
"Y/N, neither of you were in the right," He said. You raised your eyebrows at him and then they fell into an angry furrow.
"Did you just blame me for nearly getting my da-"
"No, I'm not blaming you for anything. I'm simply saying that it was stupid of you, to run into something headfirst with no plan of attack or anything, and of Fury to kick you off of the team when you've had previous experience with this guy and know what you're dealing with," He explains.
"You're explanation of me was very ironic coming from you, the man who was gonna-"
"Let's not, make this about me, Y/N. I know this isn't destined to end well, but you should go apologize,"
"Apologize? For what, taking a risk? No, no! I'm not apologizing for doing what I did, I don't need to, they should apologize to me for kicking me off of the team," You argued. Steve sighed and went to speak. "And I'm not gonna go and say sorry you kicked me off of the team. I don't need them, I can do it myself. I can catch this son of a bitch on my own, and I can take him down on my own." You ranted.
"Y/N, you need to calm down, a little. You didn't notice your eyes were a bright, powerful blue until you looked down and noticed a blue mist surrounding your hands, showing similarities to Wanda's powers. "That's new?" Steve asked.
"Y-Yeah. I've only ever been able to teleport and use telekinesis." You levelled out your breathing and your powers dissipated. "Anyway, thanks for letting me rant to you, Steve," You thanked him. He nodded, but when he went to speak, the doorbell rang. Steve stood up and went to answer the door.
"Hey Buck," You heard. Frozen, you couldn't move or speak. "Come in, it's cold out here," Footsteps approached the living room and you prepared for the inevitable yelling.
"Have you heard from-" Bucky froze upon seeing you sitting on the couch, your head bowed and avoiding any eye contact with anyone. "-Y/N." He finished. Your eyes flicked up to meet his and you feared the look on his face, it was one of fear.
