Where to begin with the trainwreck that your life is. Your parents, if you could call them that are a decent 300 miles. You've given them everything, you bought them a house, and their dream car, yet they never appear to be grateful for it, always wanting more and more. Yeah sure, they support you, but they don't, in a way. But one person who does, is the person who've became best friends with, Sebastian Stan. No matter your problem, he's always here for you, no matter what. When he said he'd look after you during filming, he'd noticed the way your parents didn't really care, like they just wanted rid of you. Then he noticed how they didn't bother saying goodbye to you, they just told you to go. Even to this day, Sebastian's mom still gets tearful when he leaves her house, never mind the damn country.

You put your hood up as the heaviness of the rain picks up. You keep your head down as you walk through the crowded streets of Toronto. Your music blasts loudly in your ears as you try to avoid bumping into people, a habit you've always had since you were young. Your parents yell at you for it when you're with them, which isn't actually that often when you think about it. As you walk down the street, you fail to notice the person lurking in the alleyway, waiting to pull you in. You reach the opening of the alleyway, and the person grabs you and pulls you into the alleyway. You yelp as you get thrown onto the cold and wet floor.
"What do you want?" You ask them, fear evident in your voice. Is this how you're going to die? Beat to death in alleyway and your parents probably still wanting something from you? They say nothing as they kick you in the ribs a few times, enough to create a cut on your abdomen. You push yourself up against the wall and see a cut on your stomach from where you fell, panicking when you see the blood. You're only panicking because if Sebastian sees it, he'll flip his shit. You slide up the wall and contemplate calling Sebastian and ask him to come pick you up, but you decide not to. Rather than keeping a walking pace, you break into a sprint and run back to the hotel that you've been calling home for the past 3 weeks. You slow down and walk in, ignoring the stares from people in the lobby and you get in the elevator, going up to the floor that the rest of your cast mates are on. The elevator doors open and you see Sebastian walking out of his room and you panic, and in your panic, the only viable option is to turn your hoodie inside out and pretend you haven't noticed. You walk out and try not to be too suspicious.
"Y/n, are you okay? you look a little pale" Sebastian says, just as you're about to go into your room. You freeze like a dear in headlights and you turn around to face him.
"Yep! Peachy" you say. "I-I gotta go! See you in the morning!" You say, practically falling into your room. You sigh as you get changed into pyjamas and climb into your bed, falling into a dreamless sleep.
-A few weeks later-
After the attack, you've somehow grown more clingy to Sebastian. He hasn't really said anything about it, and it's making you slightly uneasy. Are you making him uncomfortable? You've been too scared to bring up what happened, so you've been making sure you're feeling safe by being near Sebastian at all times. It's just been helping with the whole anxiety of the incident. You were so damn scared, and you had every right to be. So you found yourself hanging off of Sebastian, if not you're holding his hand tight in your grip.

"Cut!" The director yells. You walk off of the set and look around for Sebastian. You see him standing beside Anthony and you hang back for a minute to let him finish his conversation. When he finishes you walk up to him and throw your arms around him. He sighs and your heart stops.
Fuck
"Y/n, can we talk?" He asks you. You swallow your nerves and nod.
"M-Mhm" You say, letting your arms fall back to your side. You follow him outside to the canteen, where he finds an unoccupied bench and tells you to sit.
"Y/n are you okay? You haven't been yourself recently" He says. You hold back tears and try not to break in front of him. He spots the tears forming in your eyes and takes your hand in his, "You can tell me, Y/n. I'm not going to be mad, I promise" He says. You look at him and let a few tears fall down your face.
"Y-You promise?" You ask him. He uses his free hand to cross his heart. You sigh and look at him, taking your time to explain the traumatic events that happened in the alleyway those 3 weeks ago. "S-Seb, I was so scared. I thought they were going to kill me then and there" You say, starting to sob into your hands. Sebastian frowns as he stands up, finally understanding your need to be with him from the past few weeks. He takes your hand and leads you around the other side of the table, pulling you in for a hug. He lets you cry until you can't anymore before sitting you down beside him.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks you. You shrug and keep your gaze away from him, you can picture the disappointment on his face. "Y/n, look at me" He says. You hesitantly look up at him and a wave of relief washes over you when you don't see any signs of disappointment on his face. "Y/n, I'm not mad...well at the son of a bitch that done that but not at you." He says. "And don't worry, we can go to the police." He suggests. You shake your head at the thought. "No? Well that's okay, I'll protect you. I'll always, protect you"
