Our story begins on the first day of the second week of school, and Ash's first day in Alola, as Serena and her friends exit school.
Serena, Miette, Shauna and Gary split up from the rest of the group to reach home and this where Calem's plan came into succession
(In the morning)
"Now that Ash is gone to Alola, I can begin the first part of my plan, and for that ill need to head over to Sycamore's lab" Calem thought to himself
Calem headed over to the lab early in the morning to find Sycamore barely opening it up which was perfect.
"Hey Professor Sycamore!" Calem said
"Oh hey there Calem! Come to check out the lab?" Sycamore asked
"I sure did!" Calem answered
"Well come on in then, you can take a look around while I go and get my latest experiment ready" Sycamore said
"Perfect!" Calem replied
Calem stepped into the lab and Sycamore split off to go and get whatever he needed, while Calem looked for the device he needed
"The device i'm looking for should allow me to replicate Ash's handwriting...." Calem whispered to himself
He searched around for a few minutes until he spotted the device he was after...
"There!" Calem said and he walked over and picked it up
Calem then pulled out a piece of water and along with the device he constructed a letter he could use to make sure Ash was out of his way for at least the next month, so he'll have time to be with Serena
He finished up the letter and put the device back, and then put the letter in his pocket as he walked back into the main room of the lab
"So Calem, would you like to see my latest experiment first hand?" Sycamore asked as he entered the room after
"Sure!" Came agreed
*With Serena / After School
"I wonder what Ash is doing in Alola" Shauna said
"Im not sure, i don't know much about Alola" Serena replied
"I heard its like a 24/7 vacation living there" Gary said
"I wish we could go to Alola" Miette added
"Maybe we'll have a school trip there one day" Serena said
"I sure hope so! But did you know theres no Pokemon Showcases there.." Shauna pointed out
"Thats strange, I thought every region had them" Miette replied
"Yeah it is kind of strange, although i heard they broadcast the Kalos Showcases there" Gary added
"Oh wow, maybe they just haven't gotten to adding them yet" Shauna replied
"Plus they don't even have a league" Gary sighed
The group then carried on with talking about Alola until they reached Serena's house and discovered a letter on the porch
"A letter?" Serena asked
"It says Dear Friends" Miette replied
"Thats Ash's hand writing..." Gary pointed out
"What could he have sent a letter for?" Shauna then asked
"It must be really important...." Serena answered
