Chapter 33: The Kalos League Begins!

The war was nothing but an alternate reality for both Ash and Serena now. No one but Neptune and the two of them knew what had gone down. Even the pair who had stopped the event were confused as to how they had managed to stop it, all they knew was that they were much closer now, even more than before

But Ash's day finally came. He had defeated Olympia with relative ease using his new training, and he had all eight gym badges. The Kalos League commenced today, but someone was back to their old habits

He had also met a Pokemon that he added to his team, Goomy who evolved into Goodra through training. And he had a full team of six for the league

"Ash!"

"Huh?" He asked quietly, not opening his eyes or showing any signs of waking up

"Wake up! Now!"

"Can't I keep sleeping?" Ash asked as he turned to face away from the voice

"No! Get up!" Serena shouted again and she shook Ash

"Alright, alright" Ash sighed as he sat up and rubbed his eyes "What's going on?"

"The Kalos League is what's going on! Go get ready!" Serena replied in a panic which caused Ash's eyes to widen

"Oh no! I'm going to be late!" Ash exclaimed as he quickly got off the bed and rushed to go get changed

"We told you there would be way more people for the Kalos League" Trevor reminded

"The Kalos League. The league of leagues almost" Kiawe said

"I'm ready to go" Ash assured

"Pika!" Pikachu added

"Hey! You there!" A feminine voice called out to most likely Ash, and the group turned to see a pink-haired lady approaching with a camera crew behind her

"Oh, hey" Ash greeted

"Are you competing in the Kalos League by any chance?" She asked

"Yeah, I am!" Ash confirmed excitingly

"Then would you mind if we interview you quickly?" She continued

"Yeah no problem" Ash agreed

"Magnificent. Roll the camera" She said

The camera crew stopped whatever conversation they were having and jolted around and began the live video

"Name please" The women started

"My name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!" Ash answered

"Now what do you hope to accomplish here at the Kalos League?" She asked

"I'm here to win it all! I've worked so hard alongside my Pokemon, I can't wait to get in there and win step by step and battle by battle" Ash answered

"Well, there you have it, folks! A declaration of victory!" She said

"Now where do we go for registration?" Ash asked

"I think it's over there" Clemont answered as he pointed towards the left

"We already registered, so we'll meet you guys inside" Tierno said

"Yeah, and we need to find seats!" Lillie added

"Then we'll see you guys in a bit" Clemont replied

Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie then began to make their way to registration until a strange boy with red hair stopped them

"If it isn't Ash. I see you've already declared your victory, so show me how strong you are" He said
