After winning my first princess key, I quickly said goodbye to all my friends who congratulated me, and then made my way over to a movie theater with Ash for our original plan.
I was really exaggerating when I called me and Ash walking through the city a date, but this time.... it really did we feel like we were on one, even if he didn't know it
"Ash?" I asked nervously
"Yes?" He asked back
"W-Why'd you invite me?" I then asked
"Oh, sorry if I forced you to come" He apologized
"N-No! I want to be here, I swear! I-I was just curious" I replied in a panic
"Well to be honest with you, out of everyone in our friend group I cant really connect with anyone as well as you" Ash revealed
"I see, sorry about asking then, I really do enjoy the time we spend together" I apologized
"Its ok Serena, people can be curious" Ash said
"Pika!" Pikachu added
"In that case, what movie are we seeing?" I asked
"I don't know, I was hoping you would choose" Ash answered
"Pika...chu" Pikachu sighed
"Ok Ash, if you say so" I replied
We made it to the theater and we watched a movie we mutually chose, and it was a good experience but sadly my day was over when we exited the theater
"So Serena, did you have a good time?" Ash asked
"I sure did! Thanks Ash" I answered
"No problem, but i'm sure your mom wants you home by now" He replied
"I guess your right" I sighed with sadness
"You alright Serena?" He then asked
"Yeah i'm fine, I guess I just had too much fun today" I explained
"Oh I get it. Anyways though, I was thinking on going to Cyllage City tomorrow for my second gym battle" Ash then said
"Im allowed to come right?" I asked
"Of course!" Ash answered
"Good, because like I said, I want to be able to see all your gym battles!" I replied
"I appreciate that Serena, but try not to go out of your way for me" Ash told me
"Im not going out of my way! I want to see your battles Ash!" I pleaded
"Alright" He replied
"Thank you Ash, but whats that" I said as I pointed to mist that was starting to appear on the trail in front of us
"Im not sure" He said
The mist then charged towards and encircled around us, and before we knew it we were back at my house
"Huh?" Ash asked
"Were... back at my house" I answered
"I guess at this point its best not to question it. Ill see you tomorrow Serena" Ash then said
"Bye Ash" I replied
*Skip to morning / Third Person POV
Ash was currently in the living room along with Gary, Fiera, Clemont, Bonnie, Jason and Aria who were already here for the trip to Cyllage City. They had yet to be joined by their other friends though
