"It was only a two hour wait" Clembot said
"You really waited in line for two hours just get these?" Kiawe asked
"Ah trouble, we only did it because we're expecting Ash to give us a good battle tomorrow!" Meyer explained
"Don't worry about that! I'll do just that" He assured

"That was super good! Thanks Meyer" Ash said
"No problem at all" He replied
"I feel like someones missing" Mallow said as everyone returned their Pokemon
"Ah! Pancham is!" Serena panicked
"So it Chespin!" Clemont added in the same tone
"Oh no! What am I going to do?" Serena asked but a soothing hand was placed on her shoulder so she turned with a confused look towards her crush
"Don't worry Serena, we'll find them. I promise" Ash said
"Where do we start though?" Trevor asked
"Yeah they could be anywhere" Kenny added
"I guess we should split up" Lillie suggested
*Meanwhile
"Charizard use Flamethrower!" Alain commanded
Charizard roared and released a Flamethrower against the wall befogging flying back and retreating to Alain's side. His trainer was going to speak again but was interrupted by familiar pink-haired women who entered the room
"I heard you've made it to the semi-finals, congrats" Malva said
"Don't bother me now, I'm busy getting ready" Alain replied
"You know I'd never thought you would enter the Kalos League. Whats changed?" Malva asked
"I just want to battle Ash, that's all" Alain answered
"Well he's in the finals and you're in the semi-finals, so...." Malva pointed out
"I'll have no trouble defeating that anonymous trainer. And then... I will battle Ash" Alain dismissed
"If you say so" Malva replied

"Hey is that Clemont's Chespin?" Trevor asked a girl who held a familiar-looking Chespin
"It is!" Tierno confirmed
"Can you guys show me to Chespin's trainer?" The girl asked
"Yeah no problem, lets go" Shauna agreed and the three lead the girl back to the group, and apparently Serena had found Pancham
"Chespin! There you are!" Clemont sighed with relief
"Ches!" He said
"Are you the one who found Chespin?" Clemont asked the girl
"That's right. My name's Mairin!" She answered
"Nice to meet you Mairin, what brings you around here?" Dawn asked
"I came here to support my friend in the Kalos League" Mairin revealed
"Your friends with the anonymous guy?" Ash asked her and his friends sighed
"No silly" Mairin denied before leaning in and whispering "I'm not sure if that guy has any friends" which made everyone else laugh
"So your friends with Alain then, that's cool" Ash said
