*Serena's POV
This is the story of one of the most embarrassing days of my life. I don't go a day without getting teased about my crush on Ash, but today was too far and Ash almost found out
It all began on the same day of Champion Leon's assassination with our friends arriving at the party we had set up
"Wow this is very well done" Tierno said
"Yeah it looks like you guys put a lot of effort in to it" May agreed
"We try" I replied
"Sounds to me like you aren't that good at trying a lot of things Serena" Bonnie said with a strange tone
"What do you mean?" I asked suspiciously and she leaned in but I took a step back knowing what she usually did when she leaned in
"Hey! I'm just trying to tell you something!" Bonnie complained loudly
"Whenever you lean in its never anything good" I pointed out
"Then I guess I can just shout it. Serena likes A-" Bonnie was about to shout but I quickly covered her mouth, with my cheeks burning up
"Bonnie be nice" Clemont warned and she replied but it was muffled so I removed my hand
"Well Serena clearly prefers me to shout then whisper so I'll do just that" She replied and she crossed her arms
"Ok ok!" I accepted
"Are you alright Serena?" Ash asked as he walked up
"I'm alright" I answered
"No she's not" Bonnie lied and Ash gave me a suspicious look
"She's lying! I swear!" I insisted
Ash then looked back and forth between me and Bonnie to come to a consensus, and of course I lost since Bonnie kept a straight face while I looked really nervous
"Serena, please just tell me what's wrong" Ash said
"Nothing wrong Ash" I replied
"She's lying" Bonnie sung and I started blushing again
"Ash please! You have to believe me! I-I'm fine" I said
"Only if you say so Serena" He agreed and I stuck my tongue out Bonnie who replied by doing the same
"Anyways....." Dawn said
*Timeskip
The party was a going good until the dancing came around and the instigating only got worse
"So Serena, are you going to ask Ash to dance?" Shauna whispered
"W-What! No!" I replied
"Why not? You don't want to?" Mallow asked
"I do but I don't want to ask him" I answered nervously
"Well if you don't then I will" Miette warned and I instantly stood up and walked over to Ash who was talking with the boys, knowing she was serious
"Ash?" I asked and he turned to look at me
"Hey Serena, whats up?" He asked
"Pika?" Pikachu also asked
"I-I just wanted to know.... if...." I couldn't finish
"Just spit it out" Gary said and I gave him a harsh look before ending my sentence
