Chapter 48: Mutual Bonding

*Serena's POV

I was a Saturday and in a few days it was going to be two weeks since Ash had left me the letter about his trip to Unova. I heard a knock at the door as I was sitting in the living room. I walked over, not knowing who to expect but I got a nice surprise 

"Hey there" I said

"Hey Serena, can we talk?" The attractive girl asked, with no tone as usual

"Sure Fiera, come on in" I answered 

She then stepped inside and examined her surroundings, but she had no emotion in her face, like she was only looking for the sake of looking

"Nice house" She said, still no emotion

"So what do you need?" I then asked as we sat down next to each other on the couch

"Last time you confronted me about why I am the way I am, and I lied" She admitted

"Um, ok" I replied

"If you don't want to know the truth then I can just..." She was about to say but I covered her mouth which made her eyes widen in shock

"No I want to hear it" I said with a smile considering I made her show some kind of emotion

"Right. Do you know how I met Ash & Gary?" She then asked

"Ash told me the story. Well everything actually, down to the littlest detail, even how he and Gary were a little nervous cause your like.... really pretty" I answered

"Hm. Ok, so then you know that I just told them I was walking around right" She asked for confirmation

"Thats right" I confirmed

"You see the truth is.... I-I know something about Neptune you all don't" She admitted

"Huh?" I asked

"That dark mist, his true form. I was acquainted with it. When I was a child, I lost my parents in an accident, I don't remember the specifics. I-I was alone around the age of 7 for about a few days until I met it wandering through a forest" She answered

*Flashback / Fiera's POV

"Whats this mist?" I asked myself quietly

"Lost?" Something asked

"W-Who are you?" I then asked

"I am Parallax, but you can call me..... Neptune" It answered 

"W-Where are you, and w-what are you?" I asked

"I am the mist in front of you. Perhaps this would be easier" It replied and the mist formed into a figure that had a cape, and a hood that had pure darkness inside, hiding it's face

"I'm scared" I admitted

"Do not be scared. I sense.... sorrow, anger.... loss from you, I can understand such feelings" Neptune said

"I'm alone...." I said quietly

"I can feel that too. Would you like someone? Neptune asked

"W-What do you mean?" I asked back

"I sense a bright future for you, you can not let what happened drag you down. I will send you someone if your promise me something" Neptune proposed

"A-Anything" I replied

"You'll train with me before you go enjoy yourself" Neptune said

"Train with you? O-Ok..." I agreed
