Chapter 52: Lighting a Fire

*Serena's POV

It was currently a Monday. Ash had received his Plant Badge the day before, and he he was halfway done with collecting the gym badge in order to compete in the Kalos League

Right now we were in Science, and we were currently doing more problems on Pokemom evolutions until I noticed Ash was asleep

"Ash. Wake up" Is whispered to no avail

"He's asleep? Wow" Gary also whispered

"Ash wake up!" I said a little louder as I shook him

"Huh?" He asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes

"No talking you two" The teacher warned

"Right, sorry" I replied

"Sorry about that Serena" Ash apologized

"No problem Ash. Are you alright though? I don't think you've fallen asleep in class before" I asked

"I'm fine, just a little tired. Plus this is all on Pokemom from Kanto so it's not like this isn't a breeze for me" Ash answered

"Yeah but you should still do it before class ends" I suggested

Ash was about to reply but he was cut of by the teacher who decided on embarrassing me by saying "Didn't I say no talking? You two can flirt later"

"W-Were not flirting!" I quickly replied in a panic and I heard some snickering from the other students

"What'd he say?" Ash asked quietly as he stretched a little bit

"N-Nothing" I answered nervously

"You two sure can be a troublesome duo" Gary said

"Your one to talk Gary" Ash mumbled as he began to work on the problems

"Oh please Ash, don't start this" Gary warned

"Quit it" Fiera threatened, which was unusual for the emotionless girl

"Hey stay out of this. This is for people with emotion" Gary replied teasingly/sarcastically

I then watched as Fiera closed her eyes and her pencil tip snapped which was the usual sign that she was over the tipping point, no pun intended, and she breathed out her nose heavily

"Hey hey hey! Don't get mad, please! I-I'll even sharpen your pencil" Gary begged

"For the last time, just leave me alone" Fiera replied with annoyance and some anger as she handed over her pencil

Gary then sharpened her pencil with his personal sharpener, and offered it back to Fiera who snatched it back lightning fast and scoffed

I then continued on through Science, Battling and Math until it was time for lunch where all of our friends gathered, but someone was missing

"Do you guys known where Fiera is?" Dawn asked

"She was here earlier" Gary answered

"Where could she be then?" Lana then asked

"Maybe something happened" Trevor said

"But what could've happened?" Mallow asked back

"Hold on. I'll be right back" I said

I then got up and search around the school until I found her sitting on a bench with her back towards me so I approached her

"You doing alright?" I asked
