The flowers in the field danced from side to side as the clam breeze blew against them, while three teenagers were led by a dark figure through the area
"So this is the place?"
"This where the great Kalos and Galar war started"
"I heard on the news things are getting intense between the two regions similarly to the past"
"But why?"
"Galar thinks Kalos was responsible for Champion Leon's assassination"
"If a war breaks out it will be the greatest ever seen in history. This time around the regions have allies. Kalos with Kanto, Hoenn and Sinnoh while Galar has Unova, Johto and Alola"
"That's not good at all. Is there any way to prevent this?"
"Nothing you guys can do about it, but watch as the worlds fate rests in the palms of a few"
"Can I go home now?" Fiera asked
"Come on this is serious!" Gary replied
"There's no way your taking this seriously" Fiera fired back sternly
"Of course I am!" Gary shouted
"No your not! Your too immature" Fiera shouted back
"You know what else is immature?" Gary whispered as he leaned in
"What?" Fiera demanded to know
"Your little crush on-" Gary was going to say but he was met by a hard punch to the arm
"I knew you wouldn't keep your promise" Fiera said with no emotion as she turned around and began to walk away
"I was just joking! I wasn't going to finish my sentence!" Gary swore as he began to follow
"Strange" Neptune said
"Yeah they can be like that" Ash agreed
"Happen to know what's bothering her?" Neptune asked
"Gary just makes her act that way, you can never really tell if something is up with her. She's really complicated" Ash answered
"But you are also aren't you?" Neptune asked back as the two began to walk back
"What do you mean?" Ash asked
"Whatever's going on inside your head, your conflict" Neptune answered
"I don't know, it's eating away at me slowly, I'm not sure how to feel" Ash said
"You will in time" Neptune advised
"I hope so" Ash replied
*Time Skip
Ash, Gary and Fiera we're walking to school currently when Gary noticed something was up with Ash
"You alright Ash?" Gary asked
"I'm fine" He assured
"You still seem kind of down though" Gary pointed out
"I guess I'm just bummed that Serena isn't around, it just feels like something is missing without her" Ash explained
"I see" Gary understood
"Not you don't" Fiera disagreed
Ash then saw a familiar face begin to enter the school so he left his two friends in the dust as he rushed after them
"Paul!" Ash called out and he turned around
"Oh, it's you. Remember me yet?" He asked
"I sure do! Sorry about that whole thing" Ash confirmed and the two shook hands
