"The Semi-Finals....." Serena said nervously
"Don't be nervous Serena, we'll be alright" Ash assured
"I sure hope so" She replied quietly
"Now beginning the Semi-Finals! Our first match will be Ash, Serena & Jason against Guzma, Tony and Maria!" The Announcer stated
"Gumza!?" Kiawe asked in shock
"Could it really be him?" Mallow also asked
"Do you guys know him?" May asked back
"Guzma is the leader of Team Skull, an evil organization based in Alola" Lillie answered
"How strange that he's in Kalos though" Clemont said
"And to enter in the tournament?" Tierno added
"He must be after something in Kalos and wanted to enter the tournament to see just how far he could get" Kenny guessed
"He's after the trophy. Guzma likes his treasures after all" Lana stated
The 6 battlers then made their onto the battlefield and it was indeed the Guzma that the Alolans were worried about
"Is that him?" Sawyer asked
"It is" Mallow answered
"Guzma?" Ash asked
"There you are Ash. I've been awaiting this battle" Guzma replied
"What are you doing in Kalos?" Ash then asked suspiciously
"I heard you and your school buddies moved here so I thought i'd drop by for a quick visit and see what was up in Kalos as well. Turns out theres this tournament and me and my buddies here though the trophy looked real nice" Guzma explained
"Well theres no way we're loosing to the likes of you" Ash said
"Then come at us" Guzma replied harshly
"This will be a three on three Pokemon battle! Once all three Pokemon from either side of the battle can no longer continue, the match will end! Trainers bring out your Pokemon!" The Ref stated
"Go Golisopod!" Guzma shouted
"Make way Altaria" Maria said
"Your up Lycanroc" Tony finished
"Alright then. Pikachu, I choose you!" Ash exclaimed
"Help us out Braixen" Serena added
"Your turn again Greninja" Jason finished from their side
"Now Altaria, Mega Evolve!" Maria shouted and the Altaria evolved into Mega Altaria
"Mega Altaria" Aria said
"Looks like a decent match up" Drew said
"On the surface. Guzma's Golisopod is super powerful" Lillie replied
"Lycanroc is also a formidable opponent" Kiawe added
"Let the match begin!" The Ref shouted
"Altaria use Draco Meteor!" Maria started
"Greninja use U-Turn!" Jason replied
Mega Altaria then flew up to gain so height and then fired a Draco Meteor that split into meteorites that rained down onto her opponents, but Greninja retreated into it's Pokeball and out came Bisharp who used protect to shield his teamates
