*Serena's POV
It was Thursday and we were currently English working on a writing assignment. I sat in the left corner of the class, with Ash on my right and followed by him was Jason, Kenny, Sawyer and last and clearly least, Calem.
"Ash, you have to focus" I said
"Huh? Oh right, thanks" He replied as he returned from whatever day dream he was having
"What are you thinking about?" I asked as I continued to write
"Just thinking about Neptune, I mean it's really big news" Ash answered
"Thats true" I agreed
I think out of everyone, I should be the most disappointed with the news besides Fiera after everything the guy had done for me.
"Hey Ser-" Ash was about to say but he was cut off by the teacher who said "No flirting you two"
"W-Were not!" I exclaimed in response and most of the class turned to me & Ash and they could clearly see I was blushing intensely by their facial expressions
Order was then restored and I sighed in embarrassment. At this point I was sure the teachers had some meeting where my crush on Ash was brought up. Its like they all mutually decided on embarrassing me whenever I talked to him....
"What are they talking about Serena?" Ash whispered
"N-Nothing. I have absolutely no idea" I said nervously
"Oh, alright. Well I'm sorry for getting us in trouble again" Ash apologized
"No problem" I replied
"It's gonna happen again if you guys don't lower your voices" Jason whispered to us
"Right" Me & Ash agreed
"Serena, up here please" The teacher then announced
"Coming" I sighed
I then walked up to the front of the class and thankfully not too many people were staring but the bell ended up ringing which made me mentally sigh with annoyance
"Yes?" I asked a little rude as everyone packed up and started leaving
"Theres just one thing I'd like to discuss with you really quick" The teacher replied
"I'll be waiting outside Serena!" Ash announced as he waved and exited the room
"A-Alright!" I replied nervously as I turned and waved back slowly
"So what is it?" I then asked as I put my attention back onto the teacher
"That actually. You see your teachers have noticed you've been getting distracted in class when you sit next to Ash" The teacher answered
"I-It's nothing, I do my work" I said, still nervous
"Right. Just try not be too distracted ok?" The teacher asked of me
"I won't" I promised
We then said our mutual goodbye and I headed towards the exited
"So they have conspired against me" I muttered out loud as I exited the room
"What was that?" Ash asked and I quickly turned to my left to see Ash leaning against the wall
"A-Ash! H-How much did you hear?" I asked, extremely nervous now
"I didn't hear anything besides whatever you said right now" He answered and I sighed with relief
"Alright" I said
