*Serena's POV
I awoke on the third day of school really excited for some reason, and I couldn't put my finger on it until It hit me like a truck. I was dating Ash now! It a literal dream come true. The pure excitement was enough for me to get ready in half the time I usually did while still looking my best. I wore light blue denim jeans, an ocean blue crop top along with my treasured ribbon and ring that I had received from Ash, and I topped it all off with a nice blue hat.
I ate breakfast at my normal pace and said goodbye to my mom, but once i took a step out the door I sighed heavily and turned around
"Mom" I said
"Yes Serena?" She asked
"I um...... I forgot to tell you but..." I tried replying but I couldn't quite get it out
"Just tell me Serena, I'm your mom, I won't judge you" My mom said
"I'm dating Ash now" I blurted out and she smiled
"I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Enjoy yourself Serena" My mom replied
"Oh, I will" I assured with a mischievous grin before turning around and walking down the steps and out in the pathway as I began my wait
Thankfully it didn't take too long and my boyfriend came out alongside Gary and the boy I still hadn't been introduced to yet
"Ash!" I called out and I waved for him to come over
"Hey Serena!" He replied and he rushed over, where we embraced each other with a tight hug, and I could see Gary and the other boy with shocked looks on their faces
"Care to explain?" Gary asked and Ash held my hand up
"We made things work out" Ash answered
"Thats great, I told you I know my stuff" The other boy said as he took a bite of an apple
"Yeah, thanks" Ash chuckled
"So are you going to introduce me or?...." I asked
Frankly, I was tired of calling him "the other boy" and he seemed like an interesting person so far, so I was intrigued
