Chapter 44 Pt 2

*Serena's POV

After what was as close to a date as I could get with Ash, I made my way back to the cabin and our friends were watching another movie...

"Your back already Serena?" Shauna asked and our friends turned to see me

"What happened? Where's Ash?" Misty also asked

"Um, He said he had to go" I answered

"Jason also left, I wonder what they're doing that they need to keep leaving so suddenly" Brock said

"Well whatever it is, Ash won't tell me" I replied as I sat down

"So what happened?" Gary asked and I turned to Gary who was also sitting next to Fiera and that made me remember how Ash had described them meeting

"We ate breakfast and had a battle" I answered

"A battle huh? That's not bad" Dawn replied

"Yeah Ash rarely challenges his friends to a battle unless it's for training purposes" May added

"Did anything else happen?" Bonnie asked excitingly

"We talked a lot about our past together" I explained

"I guess that's a good way to make some progress" Lillie replied

"If anything that'll be your key to success" Mallow added

I replied with something and then we watched the movie for the next hour in silence until there was a strange sound from outside

"What was that?" Drew asked and Kenny opened the window

"Looks like Ash is having a battle" Kenny answered

"I want to see!" Bonnie exclaimed

We all got up and made our way outside to find Greninja battling a similar looking Pokemon from Ash's side, but not one that I recognized

"What Pokemon is that?" I asked

"That's a Frogadeer! Froakie's evolved form!" Clemont answered in shock

"So it evolved. And of course Ash is testing out it's new power" Brock replied

"I'm not surprised" Fiera said

"Alright Frogadeer use Cut!" Ash commanded

Frogadeer dashed forward with incredible speed and went in for a cut but Greninja dodged and landed an Aerial Ace punch

"Jump up and use Water Pulse!" Ash instructed

Following the instruction, Frogadder jumped high into a sky and fired a Water Pulse but Greninja simply used it's katana to block the attack. The battle was then over as the strange Greninja vanished and then reappeared in front of Frogadeer, landing another sword blow

"Frogadder definitely has potential" Jason said

"I know! Together we'll get strong and defeat Greninja" Ash replied as he returned Frogadeer and thanked him

"There you are Ash" Fiera called out and he turned and I could see him blush a little

"Hey" He replied, a little nervous and he gave a small wave

This confused us all that Fiera was talking more, and that Ash was acting nervous towards her. But this interesting boy named Jason had a look that read "I know something you all don't". It was quite interesting this guy.... the Kalos Queen literally had a crush on him yet he couldn't see it, but he seemed to know so much about that kind of stuff
