"You should be able to get the answer by multiplying by 3" Serena explained
"Got it" Ash understood and her solution worked out
"So?" Serena asked
"It worked!" Ash confirmed
"Great! On to the next problem now!" Serena replied but she noticed Ash was just staring at her
It was currently a Friday and Serena was over at Ash's house tutoring him on math. Normally she wouldn't really help her friends out with school work, she was too lazy for that, but this was Ash we were talking about.....
"Ash?" Serena asked but to no avail "Ash!" and she snapped her fingers in front of his face
"Oh! Sorry about that" Ash apologized
"What are you doing?" Serena then asked curiously
"Just.... thinking.... about something" Ash lied
"About?...."
"Um, Pikachu had a weird look on his face" Ash said as he pointed to Pikachu who resided on Serena's shoulder
"Pi?" He asked
"He looks fine to me" Serena said as she pet the Electric Type
"Pika!" Pikachu backed up
"Alright, whatever" Ash sighed with a nervous look
"Well for the next problem you have to divide and then multiply. Do you know what numbers to use?" Serena asked
"I think so" Ash hesitantly answered
Ash then made his way through the problem doing the best he could and he presented it to Serena
"You did it! Good job Ash, your learning" Serena said
"Your teaching me more then I learned in school" Ash pointed out
"That's because you don't pay attention in school" Serena sighed with a half smile
"I guess your right about that" Ash agreed as he scratched his cheek using his index finger
"Ok then, the difficulty is going to increase a little bit so I need you to focus!" Serena warned as she closed her eyes and pointed her pencil to the roof
"Uh Huh" Ash replied and when Serena opened her eyes she was receiving a blank stare again
"Ash.... I said focus" Serena said but no response "I need you!" and she leaned into his face, a little too close which made Ash flinch back a bit
"Sorry" Ash apologized again
"So are you going to tell me what's up or are you going to come up with another excuse?"
"Pi!"
"Nothings up.... just thinking the problem out in my head first" Ash creatively lied
"Ok then" Serena accepted and she watched him do the problem
"This good?" Ash asked
"Surpassingly yeah, your pretty smart Ash. You should really start paying attention" Serena answered and she lightly knocked on his forehead
"Maybe that's why I don't pay attention" Ash teased
"No I think your just not smart enough" Serena teased back
"Hey just because you have all A's doesn't make you smart" Ash asserted
"So what does then?" Serena asked with a grin
"I don't know but I'll figure something out eventually" Ash replied
"Well let me know when you figure that out, and I'll prove to you just how smart I am" Serena said
"Your on" Ash agreed ".....On second thought....."
*Time Skip
"What does Pikachu evolve into?" Ash asked
"Pika?" Pikachu also asked
"Easy. Raichu" Serena answered correctly
"Ok then, what Stone is required to evolve Eeeve into a Vaporeon?" Ash then asked
"A Water Stone" Serena replied confidently
"You got that one right too" Ash said in disappointment
"Give up yet?" Serena asked
"Yeah.... I do...." Ash answered
"I want to hear you say it" Serena sung
"Your smart and your way smarter then I'll ever be" Ash admitted
"Oh come on Ash, you can be smart too. Maybe one day even smarter then me" Serena said
"You think so?" Ash asked
"I know so!" Serena confirmed and the two smiled at each other
