The gang are all in their Spring semester of their Senior year now. See how they've matured and which conflicts still remain. Things are bound to change...
Jungkook sits down at the kitchen table next to his mom. "Hey... Can you help me with something?"
"Sure. What is it?"
"So you know how the Duke deadline moved up?"
"Yeah."
"I don't know what I want to do and you're always good at giving advice, so I thought I'd ask you for help."
"Have you talked to Jimin?"
"He told me to follow my dreams."
"Then follow your dreams."
"But I don't want to give up Jimin. I feel like we could have a future if given the chance."
"Then you need to ask yourself what your dream is. It might've changed. Is it Jimin or Duke?"
Jungkook thinks. "I don't know. I've wanted to go to Duke for 6 years but my year with Jimin has been the best year of my life."
"There's a strong connection between the two of you. Long distance might work but it might not. If you go to Duke, it's possible that you'll never see him again."
Jungkook looks at her with wide eyes. "Really?"
"Yeah. If you get a job in North Carolina and he gets one in California... You see what I'm talking about?"
Jungkook nods softly. "This is such a hard decision."
"Talk to him again. See if he feels the same about having a future with you."
"I don't want to scare him off with a conversation like that."
"You guys already act like a married couple. I'm sure it won't scare him."
"Okay. I'll talk to him tomorrow."
