My Mate From another world

Susan's POV

I was sitting on a small oak stall in the blacksmith's workshop watching my handsome mate Hellion, banging away at a green coloured metal with his iron hammer, over his blacksmith fire.
It took me a couple of days, to get used to the thought that I would never be able to go back to my own planet let alone see my parents again and that I was the mate to the famous blacksmith. Apparently we had already met, but sadly I couldn't remember, I was told it was to do with the drug that are escort had given us, but I don't even remember that either.

I was completely smitten with him, I couldn't believe my luck. But like myself and my friends have already talked about, there was something that are mates weren't telling us, that was nipping at are brains that it was a very dangerous secret.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when Hellion waved his right hand in front of my face and asked "did you hear me Susan?" I quickly shook my head and asked "sorry what where you saying?" He just smiled at me lovingly and said whilst putting the now long pointy, green spear in the cool water "I asked if you would like to go and have a walk outside the fort with me, to see the FireWall that I made" I got up and was about to say yes, when the door flow open and nearly hit me. Hellion was about to yell at the person, but he stopped with eyes wide in shock. I looked at him confused and then followed his line of sight to see Vegahr Nix, the lord of the fort, with his right wrist sizzling and steaming with smoke coming off it, it was a horrible sight.
I quickly moved away so Vegahr Nix could sit down, followed by a man dressed in black robes, bold head with ancient writings and tattoos, appeared.

Hellion looked at Vegahr Nix and then back at the man, as he quickly grabbed a clean towel and washed it in the cold water, from the basin near his sleeping quarters. He walked over to him and asked angrily whilst wrapping the cold towel around Vegahr Nix's right wrist "what the hell happened?!" Vegahr Nix gritted his teeth, whilst his forehead was dripping with sweat and said "what do you think happened?" He then looked at me and then back at Hellion with a serious look. Hellion glared at Vegahr Nix angrily, breathed out a long sigh and said whilst turning towards me "Susan my love, can you leave us alone for a couple of minutes" I looked at him confused and asked "but don't you need my help?" He just smiled at me lovingly, kissed my forehead softly and then groaned "as much I want you to be here with me, there is something that I need to talk with Vegahr in private" I gave him a small smile and said as I was leaving "okay, but please tell me if there is anything that I can to help" and with that I left them alone.
