As she hugged him, she felt him hugging her tightly, almost feeling that he was afraid she would leave or something like that, then when she started to break the hug, she noticed how close the two of them were.

Now

He couldn't help himself but leaning to her. He isn't sure when it started but he knew his feelings for her have been developing more and more since she turned into a werewolf and he was able to get closer to her and know her better. Even after all the horrible things he has done, she stayed by his side. At first he thought it was just some attraction that would pass but he was very wrong... It was not just attraction... it was more intense and deeper than that. He cared about her, he enjoyed talking with her and to listen to what she thought, he enjoyed her light, that only seemed to bright more and more each day, he enjoyed how strong and caring she was, he even enjoyed how she started to make a big speech when something wasn't of her liking and how much controlling she could be... He knew she had her flaws and one of them he couldn't understand why it existed, her insecurity... Yet in his eyes she was perfectly imperfect, meaning she was perfect even tho she had some flaws and he liked her, not like her despite her flaws, he liked her including her flaws... he liked all of her... and his fondness for her only seemed to grew more and more each day.

For how much Caroline tried to bury her feelings for Klaus and tried to rationalize everything, it was in moments like these that made her realize that he had an hold on her bigger than she cared to admit it. Even tho she knew that Klaus had made many wrong and bad decisions along his life, ending up in him hurting and killing people, she couldn't help but think that part of it was because he had been alive for more than a thousand years, she did horrible things and she was a newbie vampire, she also had blood on her hands so for how much judgy she would try to come off, deep down se knew she had no right to judge Klaus. And then there was those moments she had with Klaus and got to know the real Klaus, the caring and protective Klaus, the one behind the facade of the big bad hybrid.

Caroline couldn't resist him anymore and closed the small space there was between them and kissed him passionately, like if there was no tomorrow. Once they broke the kiss, Klaus kissed her again but this time it wasn't just a passionate kiss, it was also caring and tender... it was perfect.

Before any of them start to racionalize and analyze what was happening, Caroline just let her emotions speak louder than her rational side and hold his hand, leading him into their room, then she sat on the end of the bed and move herself, making more space between them, which made Klaus look at her with desire, moving closer to her, laying down in the bed, on top of her, kissing her lovingly, feeling that there was no problems in the world, there was no one else, it was just the two of them.

As they kissed, Caroline started to feel more and more not only the desire but also the need to be with him and to feel his touch, so she turned them around, so she would be on top as they kissed passionately.

Caroline took off her dress making Klaus take a second to admire Caroline properly, admiring how perfect she was in his eyes, then he kissed her lovingly and soon they were both naked.

Klaus caressed her cheek, looking at her in admiration, which made Caroline blush and feel special... She had boyfriends before, she had a fling with Damon, dated Matt but it was more a crush than anything else and then there was Tyler, who was with her finding out about the supernatural stuff, when she found out she could turn into a werewolf and he tried to help her to avoid that to happen because he knew how painful it was to turn and break every single bone every full moon. She thought he was the love of her life, that he was her soulmate... she thought she could never feel anything remotely similar to what she felt about Tyler for someone else and now Caroline was realizing she was starting to have deep feelings for Klaus... And now she realized that even if a part of her would always care for Tyler, Klaus was starting to make her open her heart, which was scary but also exciting.

She knew he was known for the horrible things he has done in his past but most people didn't know her as much as she knew him. And she felt this connection with Klaus, something that she couldn't describe.

"Love... are you...?" Klaus whispered, afraid to lose her, to have her so close and yet having her wanting to leave the next second. It scared him how much of an hold she had on him but it scared him more to lose her.

"Just shut up and kiss me." Caroline said with a smile and Klaus happily did what was ordered.

Their kisses were full of passion but also tender and when he finally got inside her, she couldn't help but moan in pleasure, she didn't even realize how wet she was already and how much she wanted this to happen until now. Then she bite his neck, making him groan as he pleased her and enjoyed having her drinking his blood.

After they pleased each other more than once, Caroline found herself falling asleep in Klaus's arms, while he caressed her hair, thinking about how much she meant to him and how he needed to make sure he would do right for her and their baby. He would protect them at all costs.

He never thought he would care so much about someone outside his family like he cares about Caroline but he does... He sees her as this incredible woman who reminds him that he still has a good side, even after being known as a monster for a thousand years.
