Klaus told everyone to separate so they could find Caroline quicker. Stefan and Rebekah decided to look for Caroline together, Liz didn't left Klaus's side because she wanted to be sure Klaus wasn't doing anything bad, Kol went on a way with Bonnie but when he was questioning some people about if they saw Caroline, Bonnie left.
Bonnie was walking down the streets of New Orleans without even stopping to think which place she was going, she simply had this voice, not really a voice, more like a gut feeling that was telling her where to go.

Eventually, Bonnie found herself in front of an abandoned house in the middle of the forest, the door was slightly opened and there was almost no furniture in the house, there were also graffitis in the walls and suddenly she heard a scream, making her notice that there was someone in the basement.

She slowly and quietly walk down the stairs and she peeked to the basement, seeing Caroline screaming and four people in front of Caroline. As Bonnie was about to get closer her weight made the weak wooden stairs make a noise, so Bonnie ran away as fast as she could from that abandoned house. As she left, a woman went to the stairs and saw a earring, Bonnie's earring.

Once Bonnie got back to the French quarter, she texted everyone to meet her, saying she had urgent news.
"This better be important to make us stop the searching." Klaus said angry and frustrated for not finding Caroline.
"I found Caroline."
"Where is she? Why isn't she with you?" Klaus quickly asked.
"How?" Rebekah and Stefan asked.
"Where is my little girl, Bonnie?" Liz asked with her hands trembling.
"She's in an abandoned house with some people and..." Bonnie was about to tell everyone when suddenly a paper appears, flowing in the air in front of Bonnie, making her grab the paper.
"What does it say?" Kol quickly asked her.
"If you want Caroline back, then in sign of good faith we get to have Bonnie Bennett. If you try to trick us, your precious hybrid and miracle baby will die." Bonnie said, making everyone look at Bonnie in disbelief.
"Does it say anything else?" Kol asked.
"No." Bonnie said.
"So... what will we do?" Elena asked.
"Well, we definitely won't give them Bonnie." Kol quickly said.
"Of course not. But we need to find a plan that won't make them think that we are tricking them... I don't want Care to get hurt." Elena said.
Quickly they all started to debate what they should do to trick these people and figure out how to get Caroline back to be safe and sound without getting Bonnie hurt in the process.
After awhile Kol noticed that Bonnie had left so he went looking for her and found her in the library writing something.
"What are you writing, darling?" Kol asked.
"Kol!" Bonnie said in surprise because she was too focused on what she was writing, not noticing Kol walking over to the library.
"What's this? For Elena? For Caroline?" He read the envelopes, making him quickly realize that she was writing a goodbye letter. "What the bloody hell were you about to do?"

"I have to do something, Kol! She's my best friend since we were in kindergarten. She and Elena are the closest to family I have now. They are my sisters."
"What the bloody hell is wrong with you that you are always sacrificing yourself?" Kol asked frustrated.
"What the hell is wrong with you? I'm doing this for my best friend. And what does it have to you? You're not my father! Why do you even care so much?" Bonnie yelled angry and frustrated.
"Because..."
"See? You don't even have an answer." Bonnie said and was about to leave but Kol vamp speed to be in front of her.
"We can find another way..." Kol said.
"Then we risk ourselves to Caroline and her baby dying. I can't let that happen. She's my best friend. She's my sister, my family."

"I can't let you do this."
"Why?" Bonnie asked.
"Because I love you." Kol said, leaving Bonnie astonished to what he said.
"Wh-?" Bonnie tried to ask but she was in shock that she was unable to let out a complete sentence.
"I love you, Bonnie Bennett." Kol said and kissed her with everything he had, taking Bonnie's breath away and she couldn't help but smile at him as he rest his forehead in hers after breaking the kiss. "Please, don't get yourself hurt. I can't handle losing you."
