(Cace)
Jonnie started preparing for her driver's license. I haven't seen her this dedicated before, it's just cute to see her this way. We've been pretty busy with all the individual stuff laid on us; but still managed to give time especially if one of us badly needed each other's presence. I asked her why she looked relax inside the court, and she answered me with "kasi kasama kita" that made my heart soft.
Lately, she's been seeking my presence whenever she feels down.
I always see her as someone with unending energy, and hearing those words from her calmed me. My girlfriend's showing me her vulnerable side and I like it. I like that she has given me another level of her trust now.
I like how she'll run towards me, how she hides behind me. I like how she chooses to be with me when she needs someone to protect her. I like how she seeks for me when she feels weak.
I'm not gonna deny how I got insecure at some point regarding this. I thought she just wants me to laugh with her, and my presence won't be that needed if she's in a tough situation.
But I realized that she must have been used to deal with those things on her own. She hasn't been into any romantic relationship, and those things she couldn't share to her family nor friends must have been keep within her. For someone who has been independent and dated no one but herself for decades, it's normal that she finds it hard to trust me when it comes to her vulnerable side.
I guess we both really are learning from each other.

Sica once again asked for our cooperation, she's been uploading special videos to commemorate her one year anniversary on YouTube. She need not to force us this time, my girlfriend already said yes even before Sica explained the content. I also got excited, it's been a while since Jonnie and I did something like this.
After all, our relationship blossomed because of Sica's vlog.
Sinundo ko si Jonnie sa bahay nila, I arrived at past nine in the morning. She was donning her twin's old gray shirt and a rainbow colored boxers. A towel wrapped around her hair.
"Kakatapos ko lang pumili ng damit na isusuot." hila-hila niya ang kamay ko papasok ng kwarto niya. She decided to let me stay there as she prepares herself.
"This one?"
"Oo." she babytalked.
Alas dos ng hapon ang schedule namin, we'd have to hit the road at noontime, but Jonnie's not yet ready.
"Make-up lang ako. Babu, dito ka umupo." tinuro niya ang isa'ng bangko sa tabi ng vanity mirror niya.
"Ayusin ko lang muna 'to."
"Ha?"
I was pertaining to her scattered clothes on the bed.
"Ako na bahala diy—"
"Prep yourself. Ako na bahala rito."
She smiled.
"Thank you."
