Jonnie's last message was her asking me to meet up after her Korea trip, saying she has something important to give. But it's been two days since she came home, and I still got no calls nor messages from her. She hasn't posted anything in her social media accounts either.

   I started to feel anxious.

   But I chose to wait. I told her I will wait for her, and that's what I did. I simply went on with my daily life, got busy with work and other agendas. All these being juggled while waiting for her.

   Just then I got a call from my secretary, may naghihintay raw sa'kin sa lobby. He mentioned Jonnie, pagkarinig ko pa lang nang pangalan niya napatingin na agad ako sa cellphone ko. Wala naman siya'ng message kaya nagduda ako kung si Jonnie ba talaga ang naghihintay sa'kin.

   Nevertheless, I went out of my office and decided to meet the girl that was waiting for me.

   And it's really her.

   Nakayuko'ng nakaupo sa waiting lounge, she was playing with her shoe using her foot.

   Para ako'ng nakahinga nang maluwag nang makita ko siya. When was the last time I see her? A week ago? Ten days? And I was badly missing her. 

     "Hey." agad na nasabi ko the moment she saw me nearing her.

   She immediately stood up and almost stumbled upon wearing her shoe again. I was about to hold her arm, stopping her from stumbling but she was quick to save herself.

     "Hi, Kahon." she smiled..awkwardly.

   Kinabahan ulit ako.

     "Sana nag-chat ka man lang para hindi kita napaghintay."

     "Sus, gusto ko rin naman dumaan sa tama'ng proseso. Naabala ba kita sa trabaho mo?"

     "I'll be having my lunchbreak five minutes from now so the answer to your question is no."

     "Ahh." she grinned, "Buti naman."

   Napatitig lang ako sa kanya. She's getting more and more beautiful in my eyes.

     "Nandito lang pala ako kasi, ano, para isauli 'to'ng Tupperware nang Mama mo." inabot nga niya sa'kin ang paperbag, "Natext ko naman na si Tita, sabi ko ipapadala ko sa'yo. Nahugasan na 'yan, 100% wala'ng sebo." habang nagsasalita siya, hindi ko naman maalis sa mukha ko ang ngiti, she can easily brighten my day by just seeing her.

     "Tsaka, may nilagay rin ako'ng cherry blossom flavored na chips at popcorn. May memorabilia rin gali'ng Korea. Tsaka ano..."

     "Ano?"

   Nag-iwas ito nang tingin bago sumagot.

     "Mami." she mumbled.

     "Ha?"

     "Mami. May nilagay ako'ng mami noodles."

     "Mami?"

     "Oo." she was looking everywhere but me.

   I was still deciphering why she gave me mami noodles. I don't think she bought that from Korea though.

     "'Yun lang. Nagpunta lang ako para ibigay 'yan. Um, alis na'ko. Matatapos na lunchbreak ko. Dinaan ko lang talaga 'yan."

     "Aalis ka na?" dismayado ako, gusto ko pa siya'ng makasama.

     "May trabaho rin ako. Hectic ang araw ko ngayon, dinaan ko lang talaga 'yan. Sige na, enjoy sa tanghalian mo."
