part 54

it's been a week and today was the day kobe got out we were walking to the car with him in a wheelchair because the doctors wouldn't let him leave otherwise but once we made it outside and into the car i helped him in while kenzie took the chair back inside once me and kobe were inside in the back seats he laid his head on my lap while i messed with his kinky curls

Y: are you ok
Kobe: yea i'm fine why
Y: i'm just making sure
Kobe: i'm good

while the others finished getting ready me and kobe were just in the back talking and making conversation about nearly everything once the others were finished we drove off going home as we were driving around i ended up falling asleep i woke up to kobe gently shaking me so i up and out of the car and started walking into the house i walked into the living room and sat on the couch drifting off to sleep but for some reason something told me to ask what day it was

Y: hey what day is it
Kairi: January 9th

not really paying attention i just said ok until my eyes shot back open and i stood up grabbing kenzie's, idas, and avas hand and running upstairs into my room i made sure to lock and close it

Kenzie: what's wrong with you girly
Y: kobe
Ava: what about him
Y: his birthday is tomorrow
Kenzie: oh crap what are you gonna do for him
Y: uhh i don't know any ideas
Ida: a fair maybe
Y: he just got out of the hospital and i'm pregnant i don't think that's safe ida
Ida: oh sorry
Ava: how about an arcade you guys could go play cute little games and we could all join and that way everyone is able to do something
Y: that's actually a good idea let's do that
Kenzie: of course you pick her idea
Y: babes you didn't even come up with an idea
Kenzie: fair enough i guess
Y: yes it's definitely more than fair

i kept talking to the girls until we went back downstairs and i saw kobe on the couch sleep so i went and laid my head on his stomach and got on my phone texting people once he woke up he started playing with my hair and yawning

Y: look who decided to wake up
Kobe: mhm look who decided to come downstairs
Y: yea yea whatever
Kobe: my chest is hurting
Y: yea kobe you just got out of the hospital
Kobe: i know but it really hurts
Y: come on maybe you need a bath to just sit down
Kobe: alright

i helped kobe up and we walked upstairs and he sat on the bed while i ran the water once it was done he got undressed and got inside and i sat on the ground next to the tub just talking with kobe

Kobe: how is he
Y: can we stop calling the baby a he before you jinx it
Kobe: i want a boy so i'm going to get a boy
Y: and what if the baby isn't a boy
Kobe: then we'll try again
Y: whatever

kobe started warmly laughing and smiling while y/n just shook her head with a smile on her face

Kobe: remember i'm always joking unless you aren't
Y: i believe it kobe
Kobe: mhm now why are you so far over there
Y: yea no kobe that's not gonna work
Kobe: it was worth a try
Y: if you think so

they kept talking and laughing until kobe got out of the tub struggling and y/n let him use her as a support while he got dried then dressed once they finished y/n helped him on the bed and they laid down together while kobe rubbed y/ns stomach and had his head nestled on top of hers

Kobe: so in all honesty did you think this is the life we would have as teenagers
Y: no not at all i didn't even know that i'd fall for the one and only kobe morris especially not twice
Kobe: what am i say i have a charm on people definitely you
Y: yea no you don't
Kobe: little kobe thinks so
Y: once again the baby is not a boy
Kobe: you're going to be so upset when the baby is a boy aren't you
Y: no i'll love him or her the same
Kobe: well in that case our baby boy is going to look cute
Y: as long as he doesn't have your traits
Kobe: very funny
Y: i know
Kobe: seriously though y/n when are you going to take my last name
Y: whenever you are going to stop playing games
Kobe: i'm serious

Kobe: for real though y/n you know i love you i'm trying to show it and i can tell you love me so why not
Y: we aren't even together right now kobe
Kobe: because you won't get back with me
Y: because you cheated on me kobe the day i was gonna tell you i was pregnant
Kobe: and i'm sorry i can never take that back but i'd like to at least try but you have to give me another shot y/n
Y: uhh i'll think about it kobe but i make no promises
Kobe: i made a promise y/n that one day you will be my wife and if you think it's not going to happen then you're delusional ma'am
Y: well kobe looks like you got a long way to go
Kobe: hehe and i'm taking it step by step lady
Y: and i'll wait at the end for when you make that final step
Kobe: looks like you do love me future mrs morris
Y: love is a very strong word mr morris i wouldn't just throw it around
Kobe: very funny y/n but sorry not sorry i still love you
Y: and to think i was almost free
Kobe: alright enough jokes go to sleep
