when melissa said that i slowly turned around then i took off running towards her as soon as i was close enough kobe grabbed my waist and snatched me back

everyone went quiet because no one expected that from kobe and y/n stopped trying to get out of his grip and she just stood there until he let her go then grabbed her hand and pulled her upstairs and into the room closing and locking the door then he held his hand out and the ring was in his hand

y/n grabbed the ring and put it back on the kobe walked up to her hugging her and breathing in her familiar scent

y/n slowly looked at kobe and then she started thinking about how they would know about kobe's incident

Y: did any of them mention something about you not being able to drink

Kobe: melissa had one in her hand she was about to give it to me but derek told her i couldn't drink due to recent accidents

Y: you're fucking slow but if melissa knew about your addiction and when she came to the house somehow there was alcohol here when she came then that night she was up already when you went into the kitchen that means she planted it there and waited until she knew you would be stressed enough to try and drink it then she swooped in last minute to talk you out of it and when your mind was all over the place she fed you a bunch of bullshit because she knew you were vulnerable at that moment and would listen to anything she said and she knew-
