after everything the boys ended up leaving along with the girls and mike and y/n went into their separate rooms while y/n was in her room she sat there rocking back and forth bored with not much to do until cohen called so she answered

Y: hey son
Cohen: hey y/n how is north carolina
Y: ehh it's alright i have an enemy that flirts with me or whatever but i also made a girl friend group
Cohen: i'm shocked you only had guy friends here
Y: i'm shocked too but i miss you guys so much
Cohen: we miss you too are you coming down here for vextons birthday
Y: i'm going to try hopefully i can i've never missed a birthday party of his so it would suck to miss this one
Cohen: i could pay for you
Y: trust me money is the last issue it's just i can't miss school right now it's the beginning of the year
Cohen: well let me know some
Y: i will i love you cohen

i hung up the phone turning on my tv watching it as i was deep in sleep i could hear my alarm going off so i put it on snooze wanting five more minutes which turned into an hour so i hurried out of bed showering then throwing on any random outfit and running out the door seeing her car gone so she rolled her eyes and walked to school as she was walking she got on her phone calling vexton and he talked to her until she made it to school so she hung up and walked inside the building going to her first class as she walked in she saw derek in her seat but she just rolled her eyes and kept walking that direction until she stopped in front of them

Y: can move you're in my seat
Derek: i'm good right here
Y: i find it funny you were at my house yesterday but still manage to be such a dick
Derek: aww baby girl you must've thought i gave a fuck
Y: you're such a sorry excuse of a man just stay the fuck out of my way
Derek: bitch go sit down before i make you

angrily i went and took any seat just sitting there shaking my foot then i texted vaughn telling him about what just happened and he calmed me down then i put my phone up dozing off in class after a while i felt something on my face so i opened my eyes thinking it was time to go to second block but it was kobe squishing my face so i hit his hand while he laughed like the asshole he is

Y: stop touching me ass
Kobe: aww do you not like it
Y: no that's why i said stop
Kobe: maybe i could touch you in other places
Y: great not only are you a self absorbed dumb ass but your also an unloyal fuck boy
Kobe: and you are just a lonely bitch

when i was about to snap back the bell rung meaning i had we had to go so i got up pushing kobe and walked out the room going into my next class and i didn't see devyn so i just sat down watching movies on my phone and ignoring the teachers lesson after a while the bell rung and i got up walking into the hallway seeing devyn flirting with kobe which struck me off as weird since she never talked about him but i shrugged and walked into the cafeteria sitting down waiting for anyone from the group to come soon ida, kenzie, and des walked in sitting down at the table with y/n

Y: finally damn
Kenzie: girl we ain't even take that long
Ida: why'd you come so early anyway
Y: i was finna walk with devyn but she was flirting with kobe
Des: that's strange
Y: that's what i thought but it is what it is

we kept talking until an announcement went off saying tryouts were today which i didn't know but i guess i'll be fine since i have on sweatpants with some nike shorts under so i get my things and walk off going into the gym we do what they tell us then we all go and sit on the bleachers until the coach comes out telling us who made the team and i made the team but devyn didn't and she looked at me mad then she walked out while i stood up going to the coach listening as she told me what i need and what we have to pay so i thank her then take the papers and walk out calling mike and he came and got me and we were jamming in the car listening to music while i had my feet on the dashboard

Mike: so how was tryouts
Y: i made the team
Mike: proud of you baby sis
Y: 2 minutes
Mike: anyways who made it
Y: me and some random girls
Mike: wait what about devyn
Y: she didn't make it and she looked pretty pissed about it
Mike: she'll be fine
Y: true now let's go eat i'm starving
Mike: aight

me and mike drove to mcdonald's and we went in ordering food then sitting down eating and playing around after a while kobe and his friend group walked in with monroe, devyn and two other girls i've never seen before
